Hi everyone, just bought my first 190. It is a 1991 2.0D. I paid £80 for it. It needed a good polish, brake disks all round, pads and handbrake shoes. A front coil spring and a handbrake cable. It took a couple of days but looks great and drives great. My only problem now is the lefthand rear wheel bearing is making a noise. I could not tell when i first drove it as it had no brakes and was making all sorts of noises. It is booked in for an MOT on monday. There is no play in the wheel so it should pass! If it does i will do the job at a later date. What i want to know is do the bearings make a noise for ages before they brake up or does it need doing ASAP? Thanks for any advise.
