Just change the broken lifter,why do you want to change the cartridge?
They are avaialble from the dealer.
You dont need to remove the roof lining,just the inner tilt panel and steel panel.Then remove the chrome trims and side guides and remove and refit the new lifter.

have you seen the hike in stealership prices ?.....................one bolt for a eletric window mechanism.....£6 plus vat  and the panel the goes at the bottom of the rear windscreen...............was £12 ish 18 months ago..................now £46 +vat for a panel 2 inches wide and 2-3 feet long...................fecking ridiculous
