Hi! I'm Sheriff John Bunnell! (Retired) Posts: 1,584 Group: Members Member #1,567 Joined: August 3, 2007	Hello and welcome Chris. Firstly, good choice of car, a 190 is ideal for a cross-Europe jaunt! A sub Ł500 190 is a very real possibility, a lot of members have bought more than reasonable examples for that amount. I got mine for Ł700, late model, no rust, full history and MOT! Ebay is probably your best bet, a lot of cars appear on there with no reserve and go for very low amounts. Between a 1.8 and a 2.0, theres not a lot in it economy wise but word has it the 2.0 has a bit more in the way of power, but it's really a case of buying on condition.
