I like the look personally, as long as the welding is done properly so they remain airtight. Matt Jones from Practical Classics magazine is building a W123 with a W126 5.6 V8 conversion and he had the W126 16" steels banded, sprayed Satin black and fitted to it. They look superb against the Grey paintwork. |
