Alright so I'm working on a project for CPU Graphics. It needed to be something that is fantasy, with my image involved. I am not totally finished, but here is what I have so far. Thoughts? sex Yummy? Oh and for the record, I made the sky. I'm kind of pissed about the explosion, but it gets the job done. |

:D The only thing is the (if you could) quality of the Rushmore pic is poor. If you could, making it less blurry would get you A+++ |

I blurred it purposely to make the attention focused on me and Washington's head. It's to show that we are the main focus. I blurred the water too. |

Interesting... At first view, I didn't like it blurred, but I also wasn't thinking of it as a project and with you and Washington's head as the main purpose. After viewing it in this way, I think you're right. If it is supposed to include Rushmore and you together, I would keep it as it is. Good thinking, DJ! (can I still call you that?) |

First off, any mod or admin can lock the "Height and width of .maintitle" topic that I made. I'm not even using that test forum anymore, and the maintitle I am using now is not the same. Second, once I open this forum (the one I am about to show you) to the public, I will apply for an affiliates spot here at the [FeW]. Third, if someone here is willing to make smilies for my board, then I will include you in the copyright of the skin (which means you took part in helping to create it). If you want further details on this, PM me. EDIT: I will also be accepting applications to be on the review staff. If you are interested, PM me. And now to the main reason that I am writing this topic (I felt like putting it in italics): If you followed my other topic that I mentioned above, then you know that my intentions for making a board were to be a GFX resource board. However, with some advice from DJ and thinking it over, I have decided to make this board a resource board for all types of reviews. This means that our staff will provide in-depth reviews on games, movies, or music (mostly these main 3 categories). In addition, members will be allowed to post reviews of movies, games, or music that they choose to do. There will be separate sections for the staff reviews and the member reviews. Also, the board's name is ~Windswept Tide~ This link (Click Here) will take you to the board. I decided to just make the board and edit the skin as I go along, instead of making a test board. The main point of the board is to evaluate games, movies, and music basically like IGN or Gamespot does. If you ask, "I'm not coming because it is just a copy of the other reviewing sites," then you should also know that you can also broadcast your own reviews. If you have ever felt that a particular game or song that you like is usually not talked about, the post a review in the Member Reviews section on why you enjoy listening or playing it. Who knows, other people may end up enjoying, too, and then you won't feel left out as much. [Note: when I say "music" as being reviewed, I mean either a song or an album. I thought it might clarify things if I said this.] Plus, we will have a MotQ contest (Member o the Quarter). Every three months, posts by members will be tallied up to see who the most active member is. In addition to posting, you must also write some reviews yourself. Of course, this is the theme of the board, so we'll try to tie in this some way to contests. The first place finisher will receive either a custom skin or five sigs designed to his/her preferences. You may pick only one of the two mentioned. Other top finishers will receive a designated number of sigs (designed to his/her specifications) or possibly avatars. I hope you at least join and browse the forum (once it is released). You do not necessarily have to post, but browsing the forum for certain reviews, updates, contests, etc. would be wise. Forums are not always meant for posting; they can be means of gathering information as well. In this case, ~Windswept Tide~ is a combination of both. It is the member's choice as to what they join for, though. Make sure to keep on a lookout when ~Windswept Tide~ will be posted in the Affiliates section here at the [FeW]. I appreciate your attention and hope you read this post thoroughly. Thanks, -Xeo |

What a great idea for a forum. I believe if you keep with it, it WILL be successful. |

Thanks, kanno! The toughest task is not creating the skin itself, but finding dedicated staff members who will continuously post reviews. I do have a couple people in mind (back from SS), but if my forum IS to be successful, I need a larger staff. Finding members won't be too difficult, because besides the major sites like IGN, Fileplanet, and Gamespot, this is a very unique theme for a board, so attracting members shouldn't be too difficult. |

This is a great idea. I will try to help with reviews as much as I can. Just let me know when the website is ready. |

Thanks, Tearless. By the way, I edited the first post. The part I edited is towards the top in aqua. If you want to apply to be on the review staff, read the edited part. |

Sorry for the double post, but I am almost done with the skinning aspect of the forum. ~Windsept Tide~ just needs some work on the portal, ucpmenu, ucpcontent, and a couple other minor adjustments. In addition, the buttons and markers need to be added. |
