What kind of code is it that we use to post pics and such in these forums? Is it XHTML? Also is there any way to center things in our replys like pics and such? And lastly (this is the question that made me decide to post in this section) is there a way when designing a page to make my tables corners rounded rather than sharp? My design calls for some rounded corners and I've seen it done before. |

Ah, interesting questions, complicated answers. Second question first, You can put any HTML that you want inside these tags doHTML is also enabled for signatures as well.
Now question 3 Posted Image Is that it? First question answer; Simple terms: BB code makes it easy to post images using a Messege board. Advanced terms: BB code is read by the source code of IPB software and generated into HTML with ease of use. It translates what is entered in the BB code and puts something like into <img src=" + img_URL + " + ></img>. You can use HTML if you use the doHTML tag. This whole forum is written with javascript includes, Cascading Style Sheets, and HTML |

Wow nice thurough answers... thank you muchly for the help :D. That was the table look I was going for. I guess people write a pre made image in as the table background and then set the table border to 0. So it creates the illusion that the tables have those rounder corners. And thank you for those tags! Very useful... all hale Kanno the web Guru lol. |
