Here are just a few scriptures for a foundation upon which to build your family.

Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Deutronomy 6:6-9, "And these words which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children and shall talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes, And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates."

Psalm 119:9, "Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word."

Psalm 119:11, "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."

Ephesians 6:4, "And, ye fathers, provoke not your childen to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord."

If God has blessed your home with children, you have the responsiblity to bring them up to know the Lord as their personal Saviour... the responsiblity to teach them the word of God and how to become strong men and women for the Lord. IT IS GOD'S PLAN... find it in His word and follow it to the best of your ability. Depend upon His guidance.
