Hi Everyone! I have a question concerning Genesis 1. In Genesis 1:3 it says, "Then God said, 'Let there be light'; and there was light." Then in Genesis 1:14 we see that God created the sun on the fourth day. Sometimes people ask, "How is it that there was light before the sun was created, and how does this make sense?" If anyone has a good answer to this or any insight, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks and blessings, HopeinChrist |

In Genisis 1:3 God created the light it was general light to not let just a dark , so it was general light and in the verse 14 God created lights not one light like the verse 3 so in 14 we have sun moon and starts that give lights sun on a day and moon and start give light in the night , and to be a sgn to mark seasons and days and years . I wish that answer your question |
