I would be grateful for your constructive critiscm about my poems, to enable me to perhaps increase the ability of my work to speak to others.

Boulders

His love descends upon my shoulders
lifting canvas sacks of boulders
I have carried so long.

His love carries those canvas bags
of boulders I dutifully carried for so long
my responsibility, to do so I believed.

His love carries those boulders
to new fertile ground, to plant in rows
ploughed by His sure hand.

Over time with His careful tending
those boulders, change renew
the drag they once had upon my shoulders
lifts my spirit, once concealed
under a mountain of rocks.
