Good God & Bad God; The keys to heaven

There is a good God and a bad God. The good God is Christ's Father. He is the God of Liberty that Jeremiah speaks about. He rewards good people for doing good things. Then, there is the bad God. He is Lucifer prince of the earth. He punishes bad people for doing bad things.

Our good God is like us. If we give the key to the police to lock up bad people for doing bad things, then the good God gives the key to the bad God to lock up the bad people for doing bad things.

Jesus forewarned us of how the good God works. Maybe, we didnt' understand what he meant at the time. Let me refresh your memory.

Matt16 [19] And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

I take the word of the good God. What's so good about the good God is he takes our word too. He even allows the words of our own mouth to either justify or condemn us.

Matt12 [37] For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

No matter how important anyone may imagine he or she is, it is impossible to get around the system of our good God. He has it all worked out perfectly until the very end.

Another thing is that the good God looks down on bad people that hate their own brother. In fact, in his eyes it's the same as being a murderer. The good God forbids the bad people from having eternal life in heaven.

1John3 [15] Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

I serve the good God. Find out which God you serve. It will determine if your name is blotted from the Lamb's Book of Life.

Amen!

Hey, Stanley! Thanks for the post! :D

It is essential to know the nature of the one true Living God. It is important to know the truth so well, that when we experience any counterfeit, we can readily identify it. For everything God has, Satan has a counterfeit. And Satan is not a God (with a capital G) because there is only one God (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one). When people are caught up in idolatry, whatever it is they put as most important instead of the one true God is their 'god' (lower-cased 'g'), and Satan is called the god of this world (among other things). Satan is by no means equal to God in power or sovereignty, or anything.

:by the way: Also, I think it is important to remember that bad things happen to good people (look at Job, for example- he was an upright man, but God was testing him), and good things happen to bad people! Evil people can sometimes escape punishment on this earth, but God gives justice.

The Bible says "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). We do not get into heaven because we do good things to earn our way in- otherwise, Jesus died for nothing.
Eph 2:8-9 says: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

All the glory goes to Christ. A christian does good not in order to be saved, but because he/ she is saved. But we still go through trials and bad things happen to us.

We do not get blotted out of the Book of life for doing a bad thing. God is graceful. But we must be very careful in out sanctification after we are saved. We must make sure to keep walking with Him and asking Him to forgive us for our sins as we commit them, and for the Lord to reveal trespasses we are not aware of. We must also not forsake our salvation by turning our back on the Lord and choosing to walk in sin. That is why there is such a strong warning in Ephesians 6:4-6 against backsliding, and there are passages like Galatians 6:1 about restoring a sinning brother back into fellowship.

The Lord knows we are still going to sin after we are saved, because being saved does not mean we are perfect at this time. We will be made perfect when we are glorified. When we are saved and still make mistakes (sin), there are still consequences, and we still need forgiveness. The walk with the Lord is day by day, minute by minute. As long as we are alive, we have the choice to follow or not. So we need to keep our accounts with the Lord short (not let unconfessed sin pile up).

The Lord is so good to us in His grace and mercy, giving us time to work through our struggles :amen: . Time to come back to Him if we have fallen away or really messed up! I got saved when I was 32 years old (looking back, I honestly don't know how I survived without Him that whole time except by His sheer grace and mercy)! Our sanctification is a purification process. So I am glad you mentioned Matthew 12:37. Sometimes I struggle with negative thoughts which are old, deeply ingrained thinking patterns I developed from always hearing the Devil's lies when I was unsaved and didn't know God or His love. That is why it is so essential for us all to constantly renew our minds with the washing of the Word and with prayer and fellowship. When we think about the things of God, it gets down into our hearts where be believe, and then our actions follow.

I guess my point is that Satan is not a God, meaning he is not on par with God- they are not equal, opposite forces, and do not share power. Satan is called 'a god' in the capacity that people obey him (worship, follow, even if unaware). And the enemy is very, very sneaky :ph43r: and tricky! But God is sovereign, and though the devil has power, he cannot operate outside the will of God. The devil is still God's devil. I am so glad you are so passsionate about edifying the body of Christ with a call to remind us all of the importance of holy living and to be careful of our sanctification! I also feel very passionate about this! Our choice to serve God or another god (whether it is money, 'self', or whatever) is not only a lifetime choice , but a choice we make on a daily basis. Paul speaks of the battlefield of the mind in Romans 7. We need Jesus for our salvation, sanctification, and glorification- and everything in between! :thumbs up:

Before I was saved, I had no idea I had been worship the devil! But I had been believing his lies (totally unaware) and since I believed him, I was obeying him. Because I had been obeying him, it means I had been worshipping him! And I was blind to it all! But jesus says "If you love me, you will obey my commandments" (John 14). I am so thankful He is faithful to recieve us back and restore us whan we repent.

Thanks so much for your post, and let me encourage you to please keep them coming! :computer:
It is such a blessing to have you here with us! :group hugs:

Grace and peace from our Lord Jesus be with you always,
May
