Easter; The Real Meaning of Easter

 Easter is a special time to wash away our sins,
No matter who or what you are it comes from love within,
Jesus Christ was judged this day to carry all our sins,
The blessed Lord Jesus Christ our love we all owe him.

Was told he would be crucified,
So they could say he was a lie,
Gods son betrayed before his eyes,
But Jesus never even cried.

Upon the cross he came to rest,
And asked God for our forgiveness,
For man kind he done his best,
Now Jesus Christ did come to rest.

His grave a tomb of solid stone,
Sealed and guarded to prove him wrong,
He rose again in their disbelief,
Oh what a mighty gracious feet.

They was wrong to judge this man,
The creator and God of all the lands,
Now they realise their mistake,
Oh what a price he had to pay.

Christ our Lord God blessed him so,
And forgave all those who was his foes,
All their sins washed away,
Because of Jesus Christ that day,

So Easter is a special day,
To share our love in every way,
For Jesus loved us with all his might,
So we could have an eternal life.

So forgive those who hurt you so,
Never let them be your foes,
This is why Christ died this day,
Please don’t let it be in vain.
