My call is as Jonah. Except, to preach to the city of Nineveh I am to preach the gospel of Christ for the whole world to hear.

Jonah3 [2] Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.

Each road that have I turned, I am being stoned and crucified in the name of Christ.

Please, pray for me. I long suffer to fulfill my call.

May our King honor your prayers.

Hey Stanley,

It is pretty cool that as Jesus' disciples we are all called to go into all the world and preach the gospel. And with today's technology, we can do this from our desktops. That is so awesome!

Being called into a prophetic ministry is a great responsibility. To whom much has been given, much will be required. There are a few things that I have on my heart to tell you. Even if you already know these things, it is good to be reminded. I need to remind myself of stuff I already know all the time. That's the process of getting stuff deeper and deeper into our hearts as part of our new character.

One is that as with all gifts, love must be present. 1 Corinthians 13 makes this very clear, and as His stewards and representatives, we must have love because He is love. And people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.

Jonah did prophecy against Nineveh, but he wasn't too happy about it. God sent him because God wanted the Ninevites to turn from their sin and be saved. Jonah wanted out of it because he wanted the Ninevites do die. He was afraid of the Ninevites and didn't want them to come ruthlessly slaughter the Israelites like they had such a great reputation for doing- and I mean the most ghastly acts of cruelty. For fun. Jonah had no bones about telling the Ninevites flat out- no tact whatsoever- that they were going to die. Maybe that is just what they needed to hear, and maybe that's why God chose him. God got the result He wanted, and the city turned and was saved. But then God had to teach Jonah a lesson about love. God made the Ninevites and loved them, not their actions. Jonah did not love them because of their actions. But their actions were about to force God to require their lives because He is righteous and just. I think He was also showing us His character of forgiveness, grace, and mercy, which are attributes that are to be built up in us as His sons.

I can certainly understand the urgency because we know it is the end times. In fact, I believe there is a global awareness of this among believers and unbelievers. And we find that many people are clamoring for some spirituality or reassurance as the end of the battle gets more intense.

Another thing about having the gift of prophecy is that we must really watch out for pride. People with the gift of prophecy usually have confidence. And it usually takes boldness, too. But we must be very careful! There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. And in our boldness we must use tact and have humility. I understand everyone has their own style and personality, and so any great ministry must be bathed in much prayer, and so I will be keeping you in my prayers as well.

May the Lord grow you in all the fruits of the spirit with balance and deep roots, and may you win many souls to God and away from sin because of the loving and humble character of Christ maturing in you.

Jesus' blood be on you, my brother.
