Survivor's Daily Prayer

Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditations. Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning I will direct it to You,and I will look up. Psalm 5:1-3

Loving heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before you as I come to You again in the name and through the finished work of Your Son and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I pray for a hedge of protection around me with mighty warrior angels to stand in the gap of the hedge during this time of prayer and throughout this day.

I ask you, Father, by Your grace to help me take a stand against all the workings of satan and the sinful workings of my flesh that would hinder me in this time of prayer, and I pray only to You, the true and living God, and, by Your grace, I refuse any involvement of satan or my flesh in my prayer.

I confess that You alone, God, are worthy of all praise. Therefore, I choose to destroy all idols in my life….anything that I give any of the praise, affection, reverence, service or loyalty that is due to You as the creator of the universe and the Lord and master of my life. Father, allow me to see all my idols and show me how to destroy them completely. Help me to pull down the high places in my life where I have gone to worship any idol. (If God reveals any idols to you, STOP and renounce them and repent from going to whatever high place you went to worship them, whether it was an actual place you went to or a thought in your mind or people with whom you were involved; and make a commitment not to go there or think that or be around
those people again.)

I ask you to open up Heaven and receive my praise, worship and petitions as I bow before you. Be enthroned on my praises, and rule and reign in this time of prayer and throughout this day. I join with the angels and all the living creatures in worship of You, God, saying
“Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.”
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb, forever and ever!”

God, I ask your forgiveness for the times I have transgressed against Your word and Your will for my life. I ask you to forgive the iniquity in my heart that would allow me to ever stand against you, either knowingly or unthinkingly.

Father, I believe Your word which says that if I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive my sins and to cleanse me from all
unrighteousness, which includes the iniquity within my heart that would
allow me to transgress, or even sin, again You. (I John 1:9) By faith in
that word, I accept that no matter how I feel, You have forgiven me for my transgressions and sins. (If you don’t feel forgiven, tell God so, then acknowledge that your feelings are what is wrong, not His Word. In addition, state that you choose, by the grace of God, to stand on His Word).

It is my desire to walk in righteousness before You, God; and I acknowledge that while I am righteous because of the blood of Jesus, in order to walk righteously, I need to come into and abide in right relationship with You; and that relationship comes only through faith in who You are and all the wonderful provisions You have made for me, especially the provisions made by the death and resurrection of Christ and by my submission to Your work for me, in me and through me and by my obedience to Your Word.

By the grace of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, I sincerely
receive You, Jesus Christ, as my sanctification, particularly as the source of the death to my old sinful man. I acknowledge that my old sinful nature was crucified with You, Jesus; and I thank you, Holy Spirit, for applying to me that work Christ accomplished for me by allowing the old sinful me to die with Him on the cross so that I could rise with Him, a new creation, to live in Him.

By the grace of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, I sincerely
receive You, Christ, as my enablement, as a new creation, to live moment by moment above sin. I ask You, Holy Spirit, to continually apply to me the work of the resurrection so that I may walk in newness of life, daily renewing my mind to the things of God, no longer a slave to my old sinful nature, but alive, a new creation, in Christ Jesus.

Knowing that faith is a total response to You, God, I make the conscious decision of faith to surrender myself, in every area of my life, completely and unreservedly to Your authority, God, as You have revealed Yourself in the Holy Scripture.

God, I praise You and thank You for Your goodness in providing Your Holy Spirit for my benefit and strengthening. I welcome Your indwelling presence, Holy Spirit. I thank You for bringing all the power of my Lord’s incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension and glorification directly against all spirits and forces of darkness seeking to destroy me…against anything that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God in my life…. against anything that seeks to keep me from being an obedient child who lives in right relationship to my Father. I submit myself entirely to Your and Your work for me, in me and through me, and I ask You to make me a fit dwelling pace for You, a place where it is a joy for you to live.

“There is no one like You, God, to help the powerless against the mighty. Therefore, it is in Your Name that we stand against the vast armies” (2 Chr. 14:11) of satan and the sinful working of our flesh. Having submitted myself to God, in the name of Jesus Christ, I resist you, satan and all the working of your forces and your kingdom, by using the power given me by God to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, to take dominion over and bind all powers, principalities, rulers of darkness in high places and any other spirit that calls satan master or exalts itself against the knowledge of God set on destroying my life, including all powers
of depression that are seeking to cut me off and imprison me in a tomb of despondency and self-pity. I bind any spirit sent with the assignment to keep me in any way from growing in right relationship to the Lord God Jehovah. I submit myself to God, and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I command you to leave my presence, and I forbid you to work in my life any longer.

Thank You, Father God Jehovah, that even though I am weak in my own strength, You are strong in my weakness and it is in my submission to You that the enemy is defeated in, and cast out of, my life; because his defeat is always not by my might nor by my power but by Your Spirit, O LORD…Your Spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind.

I ask You, Holy Spirit, to loose that same mighty power to free me from the bondages, the powers of principalities, the rulers of darkness and any spirit that calls satan master or exalts itself against the knowledge of God in my life, which have put or are attempting to put on me. I ask You to apply that mighty power to loose me from the bondages I have put on myself by my sinful thoughts and actions.

I thank You for the shield of faith, Father; You have given each of Your
children a measure of faith. I soak the shield You have given me in the faith of Jesus Christ and in Your faithfulness as seen in creation and in Your working out of Your plan for Your children all through the ages, including what I have seen You do in the lives of the people around me as well as in my family and my own life. Teach me, Holy Spirit, to exercise my faith; to move my shield so that no matter where satan aims his fiery darts, they are extinguished as they are met with the measure of faith You have given me soaked in Your faithfulness. “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

I ask You, Father, to forgive me for giving ground to the kingdom of satan by giving place in my mind to sinful thoughts, whether they came from satan and his forces or my sinful flesh. (name any sinful thoughts you haven’t asked forgiveness for). Father, I thank you for, and accept, Your forgiveness; and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I take into captivity every thought and make all my thoughts obedient to Him. I break the plans of satan and the sinful plans of my flesh that have been formed against my mind. I surrender my mind to You, blessed Holy Spirit. Give me a mind that is stayed on Your, Lord.

Father, I now obey your command in 1Peter 1:13 to “Therefore gird up the loins of your mind…” by utilizing the provisions Christ made for me, through His Holy Spirit and His truth in the teachings You have provided for me through Your word, to eliminate as waste any thoughts or reasoning or manner of reasoning that is not of You and reproduce the mind of Christ in me so that my mind is stayed on Him. I thank You that as I stay submitted and obedient to the provisions You have made for the strengthening of my spirit and mind, You will work this miracle in me. Praise You, LORD.

I thank You, God, for the helmet of salvation that protects my mind and thoughts from the lies of the enemy. “And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.” Hebrews 5:9 Christ is my helmet of salvation. Therefore, the sound mind You have given me cannot be destroyed by the enemy; because I wear my helmet.

I thank You for the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, which is all I
need to fight satan and his forces and to cut my way through the jungle of his traps and snares.

I am thankful, heavenly Father, that because we war not against flesh and blood, the weapons of our warfare, are not carnal, but mighty through You to the pulling down of strongholds, to the casting down of imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. “And the word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

Because I am wearing the full armor which is Jesus Christ and am carrying the shield of faith that protects me and am armed with the sword of the Spirit as I battle the evil schemes of the enemy and am covered with the blood of Christ which made peace with the Father for me, I refuse to be discouraged.

Heavenly Father, I thank You and praise You that I am able to stand
victorious over all the enemy’s schemes against my life and the sinful
working of my flesh because I abide in Jesus Christ, my armor, and Christ abides in me through His Holy Spirit. I am protected from without, and I am protected from within. Praise Your Holy Name. You knew the enemy, You knew the battle and You made a provision for my victory! Thank You, LORD God.

I pray that now through this day You would keep my will submitted to You. Holy Spirit, quicken my emotions and mind. Show me the devices satan is using in my life to hinder and tempt and lie and counterfeit and distort Your truth and to try to lead me into sin. And keep me always aware that You have given me the power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy.

I take back any ground I may have given satan and his forces by my ungodly thoughts and actions, and I give that ground to You, Holy Spirit and I ask you to uproot every plant that is not planted by my heavenly Father, and fill the empty spaces by planting in them the seeds of the fruits of righteousness. I also ask You to bring forth a great harvest from both the trees and vineyards that will grow there that I may bring the fruits to offer in praise to the LORD God Jehovah. All that You make of my life, I choose to give back to You as my love offering to You.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, I renounce all non-biblical motives, goals, and activities, which serve my sinful pride. God, I accept at full value Your Word of promise to be my sufficiency and rest, and by Your grace I renounce all sinful praying which asks You to change circumstances and people for my sake. Instead change me for Your glory and for the sakes of those You desire to see You in me, and change others, Father, only for their good and Your glory.

Father, I want my whole life, all of me, to glorify You. It is my desire to
walk continuously in the Spirit. Father, open my eyes of understanding;
remove all spiritual blindness and deafness from me. Give me the wisdom to see moment by moment those things You are teaching me about Yourself and Your will for my life and keep me submitted to Your work for me, in me and through me.

Father, I choose to rest in You and Your unconditional love for me. I ask You to change me, God; to make me what You want me to be; to make me a child who brings You pleasure and glory…a child whose name brings honor to Jesus, the Lamb.

I know I can’t do any of this in my own strength, so I ask and trust that You will work in me both to will and to do Your good pleasure this day. Cause me to seek Your face with all my heart. Make knowing You the most important thing in my life. Put a hunger in me for Your Word and a love for what I read. Make Your Word alive in me, the foundation for all I say and do and am.

Father, I praise Your name that the Holy Spirit has brought me to spiritual life and He will yet quicken my body at the resurrection day. It is with expectancy, Holy Spirit, that I receive Your peace in my spirit, Your comfort for my heart and Your illumination of my mind. May my will, emotions, thoughts and words be directed by You. May You bring my praise, worship, and petitions into the Father’s presence with Your perfect understanding of His will and bring my will, heart and mind into perfect submission to Him.

You are the God of all hope. You redeem me from all my sins. You reconcile my life, first to Yourself and then to others. You restore me and my service to You. Therefore “I am confident of this, that You who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Phil 1:6

Father, as long as I have breath, I will worship You as the creator and
ruler of all that exists. I praise Your, LORD God Jehovah, who was and is and is to come. I thank You for Your perfect love that casts out all fear. Again today, I lift myself up to You for You to fill and surround with Your perfect love that I may walk in absolute freedom and faith in Your love and provision for me throughout this day.

Father, be glorified through my deliverance, my healing and my entire life.
I lift this prayer to You in the name of Your Son and my LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen (It is firmly, truly so!)
