Dating is the means of meeting and getting to know our future mates; however, it should always be stressed that if you are a Christian, plan to marry a Christian and have a Christian home, you must only date Christians. Dating can be done in groups where you are free to share many things on neutral ground... thus allowing you to learn about many individuals' likes, dislikes, expectations/goals for your love, marriage, home, children, etc. and you can share your views, as well. Many people put too much emphasis on the being alone with and/or the physical aspect of touching and kissing which should be kept and treasured to be given and shared with your one true love. We must pray about our future mates and wait upon God to bring them into our lives. Sometimes the most difficult part is in the waiting upon Him and His will for our lives in the area of love, marriage, and a Godly home. Blessings upon all, RedVelvet (Diane) |
