We hear an enthusiastic Vancouver crowd all set for action as we open the show backstage where Ray Dees is with Slim Pickens.

Ray Dees - Slim, tonight you take on Michael Anthony in a match that will be no disqualification. What are your thoughts heading into that match?

Slim Pickens - Ray, I have been kicking around these parts for a long time. I have been to the top of this company and I will get there again. There is nothing that Michael Anthony can throw at me that I have not seen before.

Ray Dees - And you clearly would want your match to steal the show.

Slim Pickens - Ray, look at me. I am Slim Pickens. I am the show. I am that good. I am going to beat down Michael tonight to prove to the wrestling world that its champion is back. I want Eli to take a long look. I want Sonya to take a long look. After I am done with Michael, I will be in a little rumble with them.

Ray Dees - And your confidence extends to that match as well.

Slim Pickens - Ray, this is not confidence. This is knowledge, knowledge that I am on my way back to the pinnacle of this sport. That is how it's meant to be.

Ray Dees - Best of luck to you.

Slim Pickens - I don't need luck. I just need my gold back. My gold comes back... soon.

He walks out of the shot and then we go to the opening credits while "Change of Luck" by Ministry plays and we see images of Slim Pickens, Michael Anthony, Legion, Franco Palomitas, Rica Palomitas, Eli Brody, Sonya Asthon-Patel, Scavenger, Vesuvius and Kira Yakamoto before we head down to ringside where Henry Lesher and Ricky Simms are ready to call the action.

Rose Lemieux vs. Kira Yakamoto

The crowd cheers as "Bootylicious" by Destiny's Child plays and Kira Yakamoto comes out wearing her cowboy hat, chaps and she has a smile on her face as she appears before a CWA crowd once again. She high fives fans on her way down the ramp to ringside, fans appearing to embrace her return to action after such a long CWA lay off. She stops at ringside and blows a kiss toward the camera before pulling herself onto the ring apron and then she steps through the ropes into the ring. She paces in the corner as her music fades and we hear "Survival" by Eminem and Rose Lemieux steps onto the stage where she receives a loud ovation as well. She pauses on stage and looks around at the cheering fans without the same level of affection Kira just showed them.

Ricky Simms - I ran into Rose backstage earlier and she seems rather troubled with things. Being a member of Glamour Girls could bring out her tougher side.

Henry Lesher - She has a tough side? I mean, she was a Puck Bunny. There is a limit to her toughness.

Rose marches down the ramp and stops at ringside. She smirks at Kira inside the ring and tells her this is her chance to walk away and avoid a beating tonight.

Kosmic Kitty - Tonight we present to you the Offensive Sexism Match everyone loves for Halloween. Kira Yakamoto and Rose Lemieux will compete in a costume match where the winner is the one who strips their opponent of their Halloween costume. This match cannot be won by submission or pinfall. There are also no count outs.

Kitty exits the ring and Rose rolls herself under the bottom rope which allows the referee to call for the bell. Rose gets to her feet and Kira extends her hand for a handshake. Rose just laughs and then moves in and kicks Kira in the gut before placing her in a side headlock. Kira backs Rose into the ropes, gives her an Irish whip and then delivers a dropkick on Rose. She tries to grab a combat boot and Rose kicks her in the face, sending her through the ropes and out to the floor.

Ricky Simms - Rose is dressed for a war. This is not what we are used to seeing in this kind of match.

Henry Lesher - That makes me happy, Rick. I have not seen a naked woman since the last time we were here and I really don't want to see one tonight. If we see two of them, then I quit.

Rose heads out to the floor. She then grabs Kira by the hair and whips her head first into the steel railing. Rose stands over Kira and smirks again while fans have a mixed reaction to her vicious streak tonight. Rose stands Kira up and rolls her back into the ring before roling herself back in as well. Rose then stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a boot to the chest that sends her back down to the mat. Rose then plants a knee on the chest of Kira and asks her if she's had enough. The referee tells Rose that submissions won't work and that she has to strip Kira to get the win. Rose instead places Kira's throat over the bottom rope and smiles at the camera as she goes for a choke. Kira reaches up and manages to thumb Rose in the eye as a last resort. Kira then pulls herself out to the floor for a breather which draws cheers from the crowd.

Ricky Simms - This is a far more physical match than we expected.

Henry Lesher - I am glad it turned out like this. No naked women please.

Rose rolls out of the ring to the floor where Kira gives her a series of knife edge chops before whipping her shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Kira then take a step towards getting a result by taking off the bullet proof vest Rose was wearing and then she beats her over the back with it. Kira then whips Rose shoulder first into the guard railing before giving her a bulldog to the floor. The crowd cheers as Kira then stands Rose up and rolls her under the bottom rope into the ring before she enters the ring as well. Kira puts the boots to Rose and asks if this is what she wanted. Rose answers with a big boot to the stomach on Kira, doubling her over where she then delivers an upper cut that sends Kira back to the mat. Rose uses the ropes to get to her feet and then she puts the boots to Kira yet again, making no move to actually win the match. She only stops when we hear "Somebody Told Me" by The Killers and GM Wyatt Gibson steps onto the stage to loud boos from the crowd.

Wyatt Gibson - What the hell are you doing Rose? I booked this as a fun match to start the show and you're turning it into a grudge match. If you want a grudge match, enter the rumble at the end of the night. These fans want a fun match, not this lawless display where one of you could actually get seriously hurt.

Rose motions to Kosmic Kitty at ringside and has a microphone thrown into the ring. She drills Kira between the eyes with the the microphone before she talks to Wyatt.

Rose Lemieux - That's what I think of your cheesecake match, Wyatt. You didn't want Chastity in this match because she would have done what I just did.

Wyatt Gibson - Against my better judgement, I am awarding the decision for this match to Kira Yakamoto.

Rose Lemieux - I could care less, Wyatt. The ladies of this company will prove themselves to you and to anyone else we have to.

Rose throws the microphone back out of the ring to the floor and then exits the ring while the crowd has a mixed reaction to the result.

Kosmic Kitty - The winner of this match by general manager's decision, Kira Yakamoto!

Rose heads up the ramp while Wyatt bids a retreat, shaking his head as he does so.

Backstage we see Ingee Shmelky looking rather nervous as he walks through a dark backstage area. He clears his throat loudly as he slows his advance. A large man steps out of the shadows in front of him. It is none other than Frank Merritt.

Ingee Shmelky - You called me down here?

Frank Merritt - I called the CWA down here. You see, tonight you will see men inside that ring who claim they are monsters. You will see men inside that ring who think they are warriors. You will see men who are wrong.

Ingee Shmelky - You're not booked to wrestle tonight.

Frank Merritt - *grins in typical evil fashion* Booked? I need to be booked? No, I do not. I am here. I am the monster. I am here to drag the CWA straight down to hell once and for all. Look into my eyes, Shmelky man. Tell me I am not capable of bringing hell with me whenever I want to.

Ingee Shmelky - I would never doubt you, Frank.

Frank Merritt - No one will ever doubt me, little man. Soon, they will all see that it is too late for them.

He chuckles as he returns to the shadows and Ingee bids a hasty retreat.

Michael Anthony vs. Slim Pickens

"Showstopper" by Toby Mac plays as Slim Pickens steps out onto the stage where the crowd gives him a solid ovation. He soaks in their applause and adulation on the stage and even bows to them, but Michael Anthony breaks this up by charging onto the stage and slamming a chair across the back of Slim before repeatedly hitting him across the back while the referee rushes onto the stage and calls for the bell to make this match official. The crowd starts a chant for Slim while Michael stands him up and whips him into the stage's backdrop. He then motions to the crowd and pulls Slim to his feet and then gives him a belly to belly suplex onto the steel stage and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Slim Pickens.

Ricky Simms - This is going to be a total brawl.

Henry Lesher - It gives Slim a chance, but not much of one. Michael Anthony wants this one badly.

Michael stands Slim up and pulls him down the ramp to ringside. He then pulls up a gym mat from the concrete floor and sets up for a DDT, Instead, Slim ducks down and backdrops Michael Anthony onto the exposed concrete. Slim Pickens then lands a knee drop to the forehead on Michael before hooking the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Michael. Slim then stands Michael up and rolls him into the ring before lifting the apron and pulling out a table. He slides the table across the ring apron onto the mat and then pulls himself onto the apron before stepping through the ropes into the ring. Michael is on his knees as Slim moves in and grabs him by the hair. Michael then delivers a low blow on Slim and then rakes his eyes along the middle rope. Michael then gives Slim a punch to the throat and then clotheslines him to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Slim Pickens and Michael argues with the referee about the speed of the count.

Ricky Simms - Michael thought he had the match won there.

Henry Lesher - He did, but the referee doesn't want to count the old guy out.

Michael turns his attention to the table inside the ring and he starts to set it up. Michael makes certain it is sturdy and then turns back to Slim Pickens and gives him a series of rights and lefts. Michael then picks Slim up and slams him onto the table before going to the nearest corner and making his way to the top while the fans start another chant for Slim Pickens. Michael poses on the top rope, leaps off and misses as Slim rolls off the table which causes Michael to crash through the table himself. Slim then slowly gets to his feet, seeming to feed on the fans' chants. Slim then stomps on Michael before he picks him up and power slams him back to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Michael. Slim shakes his head as he then pulls Michael back to his feet and then gives him a vertical suplex to the mat, then stands him up and delivers a second of the same. Slim goes for another pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Slim Pickens.

Ricky Simms - These men are both showing just how tough they are tonight.

Henry Lesher - Well, they are intense individuals. That's for sure.

Michael stands Slim up, whips him off the ropes and both men clothesline each other to the mat. The referee starts counting both men down, the fans chanting the number along with the official. On the four count, Michael rolls onto his stomach and starts to push himself up to his feet. On the six count, Slim manages a kip up to his feet which draws a loud cheer from the crowd. He balls up his fists and then starts landing rights and lefts on Michael before giving him an elbow to the head and then he gives him a spear to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Michael Anthony. Slim is visibly winded as he pulls Michael back to his feet. Michael gives Slim a knee to the gut and then an eye gouge and then a headbutt before giving him a spinebuster to the mat. Michael then rolls himself out to the floor and pulls a kendo stick out from under the ring. He slaps the apron with it and smiles as he then pulls himself into the ring. He gets to his feet and circles the wounded Slim Pickens. He then starts drilling him across the back and in the ribs with the kendo stick. The fans boo Michael as he revels in the pain he is inflicting on the former CWA champion.

Ricky Simms - Brutal display here by Michael Anthony.

Henry Lesher - Michael is a dangerous man. He has nothing to lose here. He is making a name for himself at the expense of the better known man. Notice I didn't say Slim is the better man because he isn't.

Michael Anthony drops the kendo stick, pulls Slim into the corner buckle and then whips him to the opposite corner. He then goes for a shoulder tackle which Slim side steps before whipping Michael shoulder first into the buckle instead and then he rolls him into a school boy roll up. 1...2... kick out by Michael Anthony which draws groans from the crowd. Slim then rolls himself out of the ring and reaches under the ring apron to pull out a steel chair. He smiles as he looks at his opponent inside the ring. He rolls himself back in and then jumps to his feet and starts hitting Michael across the back with the chair while the fans cheer. Slim then goes to the corner and starts climbing, the chair still in his grasp. As he sets to finish off Michael Anthony, the crowd murmurs while Frank Merritt is seen making his way down the ramp. Slim spots Frank and shouts at him to leave before he gets any closer.

Ricky Simms - Why is Frank here now?

Henry Lesher - To make my night awesome, Rick!

Frank pauses at ringside and has a few words for Slim Pickens. Michael Anthony gets to his feet and then grabs the chair from Slim's hands and smashes it into the face of Slim Pickens before giving him a snap mare to the mat where he goes for the pin while using the ropes for added leverage. 1...2...3! Michael Anthony gets the win, thanks in part to a distraction from Frank Merritt. Anthony looks outside the ring and doesn't welcome Frank anymore than Slim did. In fact, he gets to his feet and motions the monster into the ring. Instead of entering the ring, Frank backs up the ramp and tells the camera that he is just getting started.

Ricky Simms - Frank making his presence felt without any physical involvement.

Henry Lesher - That made my night. I am so happy right now, knowing the monster is here at all.

Kosmic Kitty - The winner of this match by pinfall, Michael Anthony!

The crowd boos as the referee raises Michael's hand. Michael is still watching Frank Merritt and not celebrating the win at this point.

Sabrina Davidson is backstage with Shannon Skanes in his office.

Sabrina Davidson - Shannon, I understand you have news for the next Overdrive.

Shannon Skanes - As a result of what happened earlier, I have ordered a match between Rose Lemieux and Kira Yakamoto. Wyatt Gibson tried to throw his weight around and he will have a full review of his job after the conclusion of that match.

Sabrina Davidson - So he could be fired.

Shannon Skanes - There are many different outcomes, Miss Davidson.

Sabrina Davidson - What about gold in this company?

Shannon Skanes - I know the importance of championships, so I am going to start to slowly introduce titles to the company once again. At Overdrive in two weeks, we will crown new tag team champions first. Keep an eye on the CWA web site for details.

Sabrina Davidson - That seems to be an odd choice.

Shannon Skanes - I am spotlighting titles which can really mean something when they are treated properly. That is what the CWA intends to do.

Sabrina Davidson - While I have you here, is there any chance Myst makes an appearance on CWA programming soon?

Shannon Skanes - I haven't seen Myst in a long time now. If you can find her, you can ask her yourself.

Sabrina Davidson - Thanks for your time.

Eli Brody vs. Roca Palomitas

"Popcorn" by Hot Butter plays as Roca Palomitas steps onto the stage where the crowd gives him a mixed response. He only remains on the stage for a moment before making his way down to ringside, with no sign of partner Franco at this stage of the show. He makes his way up the ring steps onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. He leans back against the ropes and looks towards the stage while his music fades and we hear "The Real Life" by Greek Fire and Eli Brody comes out to a solid reaction from the crowd. He shakes his head as he looks at his opponent inside the ring and then circles the ring once before pulling himself onto the ring apron while Kosmic Kitty makes the announcement of match participants for the crowd.

Ricky Simms - This should be quite the match between a man who pretends to be a luchadore and a man who is a CWA superstar.

Henry Lesher - You can't take a shot at Roca and kiss Eli's ass in the same sentence, Rick. I have no reason to not believe Roca's got a Latino heritage. I think he just stutters.

Ricky Simms - And barely speaks Spanish.

Henry Lesher - Stop making judgments, Rick.

Eli steps through the ropes into the ring and the referee cals for the bell to start the match. Roca tries to get an "Ole" chant started with the crowd, but they simply boo him while one fan can be clearly heard shouting at him to go back to Philadelphia. Roca then shakes his head and adjusts his mask before moving in for the lock up with Eli. He backs Eli into the ropes where the referee then asks them to break. Roca backs off and then gives Eli an elbow to the chin before giving him a snap mare to the mat where he applies an arm bar. Again, he engages the crowd and tries to get an "Ole" chant started to no avail.

Ricky Simms - Who does he think he's kidding?

Henry Lesher - You're being racist again, Simms. Roca is a fine Latino wrestler of Mexican lineage.

Ricky Simms - You're as Mexican as he is.

Henry Lesher - My father was Dutch, my mother German. How do you get Mexican out of that?

Eli gets to his feet and uses the ropes to somersault out of the arm bar, lands behind Roca and then gives him a series of knees to the back. Eli then picks Roca up and scoop slams him back down to the mat. Eli then gives Roca a leg drop before going for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Roca. Eli stands Roca up, whips him into the corner and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Eli then goes to the ropes and quickly makes his way to the top. He manages to land a flying elbow smash to the chest on Roca and again goes for the pin. 1...2... Roca rolls a shoulder out in time. Eli stands Roca up, whips him off the ropes and Roca ducks a clothesline before giving Eli a reverse neckbreaker to the mat. Roca then gets to his feet and takes a moment to collect himself. Roca kicks Eli in the ribs and then chokes his downed opponent with both hands, breaking the choke before the referee reaches a five count. Roca then stands Eli up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a German suplex to the mat from there, holding his shoulders down for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Eli.

Ricky Simms - Good back and forth action in this one.

Henry Lesher - This is the first match we have had with two actual wrestlers in it. That makes it seem spectacular.

Roca stands Eli up, whips him off the ropes and clotheslines him down to the mat and then gives him a knee drop to the throat before sitting him up and applying a sleeperhold on Brody. The fans start a chant for Eli and Roca nods as if they are finally chanting "Ole" for him. He strengthens his grip on Eli and loudly screams "Ole!" which draws boos from the crowd. Eli reaches out for the ropes while the referee asks for a submission. Eli refuses to submit and continues trying to pull himself closer to the ropes. Roca releases the hold moments before Eli will reach the ropes and then pulls him to the center of the ring. He sets for a suplex which Eli blocks and then Eli gives Roca a vertical suplex to the mat. Eli rolls to the ropes and then gets to his feet while Roca does the same. Roca charges at Eli and Eli ducks, pulling the ropes apart so that Roca tumbles out to the floor. Eli then rolls himself out after Roca and then the two start trading punches which brings cheers from the fans.

Ricky Simms - The action is right here in front of us as these warriors keep up the fight.

Henry Lesher - Like I said, we are impressed because they are real wrestlers in a real fight. It is not a usual occurrence. This is because Frank showed up and that raises the bar for everyone else.

Roca takes a forearm smash to the jaw from Eli and Eli follows that up by smashing Roca's head into the steel ring steps before rolling him back into the ring. Eli rolls himself in as well and then he quickly gets to his feet where he then lands a series of kicks to the chest on Roca. Eli stands Roca up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a clothesline to the mat. He then stands Roca up, whips him into the corner and ducks his head for a backdrop only to take a kick to the face from Roca. Roca then gives Eli a Rock Bottom to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Eli and Roca shakes his head. He gives the referee a dirty look, but says nothing. He then picks Eli up and slams him to the mat before he then gives him an elbow smash to the throat. He again tries for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Eli. Roca then stands Eli up, whips him off the ropes and misses the clothesline as Eli ducks it and then he gives Roca a knee to the gut followed by a swinging neckbreaker to the mat where Eli goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Roca.

Ricky Simms - Both men getting two counts and finding that three to be elusive.

Henry Lesher - Again, this is due to the fact these men are both real wrestlers. There are no divas in this and no men who should have gone away a long time ago.

Eli stands Roca up, whips him off the ropes and backdrops him to the mat before he looks to the crowd as if he is ready to end this. He looks to the ropes and goes to the top while the fans cheer. He then does a leap into the Paradox Pain only to find no one home as Roca rolls out of the way. Roca gets to his feet and pulls Eli up and sets for the La Maniobra de la Derrota de Orville Redenbacher. As he picks Eli up, Eli manages to kick his way free of Roca's grasp and then he gives Roca a standing dropkick that sends him falling to the ropes. Eli then sets for a DDT on Roca, but Roca backdrops Eli through the ropes and out to the floor where Eli crumples in a heap.

Ricky Simms - Both men went for their big finish and both failed to execute.

Henry Lesher - Might as well keep this fun going.

Roca rolls out to the floor and wastes no time in rolling Eli back in before he enters and then he tries to place Eli in a camel clutch. Eli has the ring presence to grab the bottom rope and prevent the hold from being applied. Eli then uses the ropes to get to his feet and kicks an approaching Roca in the chest and then he gives him a headbutt before Eli then gives him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat. Eli then gets back to his feet and looks to the crowd and back to the ropes. Instead of going for the finisher, he gives Roca a leg drop to the throat and then he pulls him to the middle of the ring before applying a figure four leg lock. The crowd cheers as the referee asks Roca if he submits. Roca refuses to tap out or audibly give up. Eli sits up and tells Roca he isn't going to let go and he should give it up now before he breaks his legs.

Ricky Simms - Both men have to be exhausted at this point, Eli currently with the edge and you have to wonder how much longer they can go on like this.

Henry Lesher - I hope it means we cancel the Scavenger match and any further Slim sightings.

Roca reaches for the ropes and pulls himself towards them while Eli struggles to keep the bigger man in the middle of the ring. Roca also tries to turn the hold over which would reverse the pressure. Roca pulls himself towards the ropes and Eli senses that he is not going to be able to keep him away from them, so he breaks the hold, gets to his feet and then starts putting the boots to Roca. Roca quickly rolls himself out to the floor for a break. Eli then rolls out after him only to have Roca roll himself in. Eli slips back into the ring and takes a kick to the face from Roca who rolls Eli into a small package. 1...2... kick out by Eli. Roca slaps the mat and gets to his feet while Eli does the same. They move in for a lock up and Eli ducks out of it and knees Roca in the gut before giving him a tilt a whirl backbreajer and then he goes to the nearest corner and lands the Paradox Pain. He hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2...3! Eli Brody scores the hard fought victory and the crowd cheers.

Ricky Simms - Roca kicks out a moment too late and Eli gets the win. He is supposed to be involved in the rumble at the end of the night, so we'll see if he can keep the momentum going.

Henry Lesher - He can't have much left.

Eli heads up the ramp while Roca gets to his feet inside the ring and he vows revenge.

Slim Pickens is pacing in his locker room when interviewer Neriah Sweet enters the shot.

Neriah Sweet - Slim, can we have a moment of your time?

Slim Pickens - Frank Merritt! Who is Frank Merritt? Who is this man to Slim Pickens?

Neriah Sweet - So you are understandably upset over what happened in your loss to Michael Anthony.

Slim Pickens - I am leaving tonight with twenty-five thousand dollars. I am also leaving with the head of Frank Merritt on a plate. He wants to say he is the monster of the CWA? He wants to lurk in the shadows and intimidate me? That boy has no idea what he's messing with.

Neriah Sweet - Any words for Michael?

Slim nods and faces the camera.

Slim Pickens - You got lucky tonight, kid. It won't happen again. I will be the first champion of the new and improved CWA and you're all going to be fighting over who is number two when I am the undisputed number one.

Neriah Sweet - Are you concerned Frank will get involved in the Halloween Rumble match?

Slim Pickens - No, I am counting on it.

Slim storms out of the locker room and we head back to the ring.

Legion vs. Anarchy Inc.

There is no music playing as the two members of Legion are led onto the stage by Reverend Mercy who is smiling at the booing fans. He tells the camera that this is just the start of what will be a long night for the heroes of the company. He then leads the two men down to ringside and then has a few words for them before they make their way into the ring. The reverend then looks up the stage as "Mein Teil" by Rammstein starts to play and Vesuvius leads Scavenger onto the stage where they receive a loud ovation from the crowd. They then make their way down the ramp to ringside where the reverend appears to actually invite them to join the group and avoid the fight tonight.

Ricky Simms - Reverend Mercy seems to believe that he can talk Anarchy into joining with Legion.

Henry Lesher - It would be a wise move for them which is why they won't do it. Scavenger's last smart move was retiring and his presence here means he even screwed that up.

The reverend backs off as Vesuvius and Scavenger step up onto the ring apron, turning down his invitation without any punches thrown. Vesuvius starts the match by stepping into the ring while a single member of Legion awaits him. The bell sounds and the two men lock up in a test of strength. Vesuvius shows early signs of overpowering his foe and the Legion member kicks him in the gut, breaking up the hold. Legion then gives Vesuvius a series of forearm smashes to the jaw, backing him into a neutral corner. Legion One then gives Vesuvius a hip toss to the mat and then applies a headlock on the mountain man while Scavenger paces in their corner. Vesuvius whips Legion One off the ropes and misses a clothesline when Legion ducks it and then then he gives Vesuvius a drop toe hold to the mat where he then quickly applies a Boston Crab on the CWA veteran. Scavenger can be heard shouting from his corner while the second Legion member stands motionless in his corner, the Reverend applauding the action from ringside.

Ricky Simms - This is tilted towards Legion early and I wonder if these are the same two men we saw two weeks ago. Apparently, there are four men in masks and the reverend out here as well.

Henry Lesher - There is strength in numbers, Rick. These guys are simply exploiting a weakness in the CWA right now. They need to sell tickets and the men with the masks are bringing people in. Everyone wants to know who Legion is and why the luchadores are here.

Ricky Simms - Pretty sure Legion is as Mexican as the luchadores.

Henry Lesher - These guys aren't Mexican, Rick. Pay attention.

Vesuvius manages to grab the bottom rope which forces the break. Legion One then pulls Vesuvius to his corner and tags in Two. Two steps through the ropes into the ring and then both men stand Vesuvius up, whips him off the ropes and they give him a double shoulder block down to the mat. Legion Two then applies a front face lock on Vesuvius while One exits the ring. Vesuvius pushes against Two and manages to again get to the ropes which forces the break. Vesuvius then gives Two a kick to the gut followed by a jawbreaker and then he heads to his corner and tags in Scavenger. Scavenger charges into the ring and backdrops Two and then spears a charging One to the mat and then Scavenger goes back to Two and lands a series of punches to the head on Two while the referee warns him about using closed fists. Scavenger does stop before the disqualification occurs and then he whips Two into a neutral corner before giving him a German suplex to the mat. Scavenger then pulls Two to his feet and whips him off the ropes before giving him a backdrop to the mat and then Scavenger goes to the ropes in the nearest neutral corner. Two gets to his feet and takes a double axe handle smash to the back from Scavenger which knocks him back down to his knees. Scavenger then sets for a vertical suplex which Two blocks and then he gives Scavenger a vertical suplex to the mat before he whips Scavenger into his corner where Legion One greets him with a punch to the head. Two then tags in One and Two holds Scavenger in a bear hug while One comes off the ropes and clotheslines Scavenger out of his partner's arms and down to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... Scavenger gets a foot on the bottom rope.

Ricky Simms - Good match so far between four tough men.

Henry Lesher - I guess it helps to have set the bar so low to start the night. It makes the rest of the show seem epic.

Legion One stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and then turns and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Legion One then rolls himself out to the floor and stands Scavenger up before ramming his head into the guard railing. He then spots a man in the front row and he shakes his head at him. The fan stands up and the fans cheer as they see Tough Eagle is the fan Legion One has been shaking his head at. Eagle and Legion One have a few words while Scavenger gets to his feet behind One. Scavenger then rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring and Legion One actually throws a punch at Eagle which sends him falling back into his seat.

Ricky Simms - Eagle won't take that well.

Henry Lesher - Actually, he took that punch really well, Rick.

One manages to get back into the ring just before the count out and he takes a series of kicks to the chest from Scavenger as a greeting. Scavenger then stands One up, whips him off the ropes and goes for a dropkick, but One side steps that and then he starts putting the boots to Scavenger. Outside the ring, Eagle steps over the guard railing after shoving a security guard down. He has a chair in hand, the same one he had just been pushed down onto. Eagle hits Legion Two down off of the apron with the chair and the referee calls for the bell. The crowd cheers as Eagle beats down Legion Two, but that doesn't last as two more masked men rush down the ramp and head around the ring to make the save.

Ricky Simms - This is what I was afraid of.

Henry Lesher - Even odds scare you, do they? Eagle attacked Legion, not the other way around.

Kosmic Kitty - The winners of the match as a result of a disqualification, Legion!

The crowd boos even as Vesuvius and Scavenger head out to brawl with Legion. Security team members then rush down the ramp to try and break up the brawl at ringside. The fans cheer as Scavenger grabs the chair from Eagle and looks it over as if he might know it. Instead, he drills one of the Legion members over the back and Reverend Mercy watches from the opposite side of the ring, still applauding and smiling as the chaos spreads. He tells the camera that this is all part of the cleansing this company needs.

We see Ray Dees backstage with CWA newcomer Eddie Johnson.

Ray Dees - CWA, I am pleased to introduce to you all, Eddie Johnson.

Eddie Johnson - Yes, my name is Eddie Johnson and I intend to make a name for myself in the CWA starting at Overdrive in two weeks when I...

He is interrupted by Wyatt Gibson who interrupts the promo without warning.

Wyatt Gibson - Yeah, great to have new kids around and all. That said, Tough Eagle is not an employee of this company and he puts his hands on Legion? In two weeks, he gets to face whichever member of Legion that the reverend sees fit. If he turns the match down, he will be barred from all future CWA events.

Eddie Johnson - I was talking here.

Wyatt Gibson - People don't care anyway, kid. Just make a name for yourself when you get that chance. This is not the time.

Ray Dees - You know the right time, Wyatt? Since when?

Wyatt Gibson - Not in the mood, Dees.

Wyatt storms off and we return to the ring before the newcomer can say anything further.

Halloween Rumble
Sonya Ashton-Patel vs. Slim Pickens vs. Eli Brody

"For Stevie Wonder's Eyes Only" by Bring Me the Horizon plays as Sonya Ashton-Patel makes her way onto the stage. The crowd gives her a mixed response.

Kosmic Kitty - As a result of there being three entrants to this match, it will now be a triple threat match where the winner is the first to score a pinfall or submission victory.

Sonya gets half way down the ramp when Slim Pickens comes out and motions to the camera that he doesn't care about his ring entrance. The fans cheer when they see Slim and he rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring where he starts pacing while Sonya stands at ringside, unsure whether she wants to enter the ring at this moment or not. "The Real Life" by Greek Fire plays for a second time tonight as Eli comes out to a solid ovation from the crowd and he makes his way down the ramp to ringside where he has a few words with Sonya before they both pull themselves onto the ring apron and step through the ropes into the ring. The referee calls for the bell and the match is officially underway with Slim charging at Eli and shoulder tackling him into a corner while Sonya looks on.

Ricky Simms - The winner of this match wins twenty-five thousand dollars and apparently gets a spot in a title tournament that will take place at Battle of the Warriors 2014.

Henry Lesher - If this company waits until January to name a champion, I actually have to admit that's a smart move. It hurts me to admit that.

Slim gives Eli an arm drag to the middle of the ring and applies an arm bar, but Sonya breaks that up with a roundhouse kick to the chin on Slim and then she gives him a monkey flip to the mat where she pins his shoulders for the quick pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Slim. Sonya then stands Slim up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a dropkick to the mat. Eli then headlocks Sonya and gives her a bulldog to the mat before he goes for the quick pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Sonya. Eli stands Sonya up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a snap mare to the mat before he spots a charging Slim. Slim's shoulder block fails as Eli brings a knee up and catches Slim in the chin with it before giving him a side suplex to the mat. Eli then stands Slim up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Eli then takes a chop block to the mat from Sonya. She quickly applies an ankle lock looking for a quick submission. Eli instead grabs the bottom rope to force the break and then he quickly gets back to his feet. Sonya moves in an catches a boot from Eli and grabs it before pulling him down to the mat. She goes for a figure four leglock on Brody, but he instead kicks her in the back, sending her into the corner buckle. She staggers out and takes a backstabber from Eli who then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sonya. Slim slips back into the ring and he kicks Eli in the back before he has a chance to react.

Ricky Simms - Lots of rapid fire events happening between these three competitors and the fans are certainly into it.

Henry Lesher - The fans are just happy that Slim is going to lose.

Slim picks Eli up and scoop slams him to the mat while Sonya climbs the ropes in the nearby corner. She launches herself for a flying cross body, but Slim catches her in mid-air and slams her on top of Eli. He then rolls her away and goes for the pin on Brody. 1...2... kick out by Eli. Slim pulls Eli to his feet and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. He then goes over to Sonya and catches a kick to the head for his trouble. Sonya then runs to the ropes, back to the middle of the ring and leap frogs a confused Slim before catching him with a school boy roll up into a pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Slim Pickens. Sonya then rolls him out to the floor and she retreats to the other side of the ring. Slim finds himself next to Eli on the floor as Sonya executes a suicide dive through the ropes onto both men, sending everyone crashing into the guard railing. The crowd cheers as Sonya gets to her feet and then pulls Slim to his before rolling him into the ring. Slim gets to his feet only to get caught with a flying headscissors to the mat from Sonya who then quickly applies a crossface chicken wing on Slim. Before the referee can ask for a submission, Eli pulls Sonya out of the ring to the floor and then he slips in to apply a crossface chicken wing on Slim. Again, before the referee can even ask, Sonya pulls Eli out of the ring and has words with him.

Ricky Simms - The dynamics of a triple threat match are always changing.

Henry Lesher - And Slim is going to lose. That's just how these things work.

Slim pulls himself to his hands and knees inside the ring as Eli tries to pull himself into the ring. Sonya pulls him back out. Eli then gives Sonya an inverted atomic drop, a move that has less of an effect on women than men but is still effective in its own right. Eli then rolls her into the ring where Slim gives her a DDT to the mat and rolls her over for the pin. 1...2...3! Slim Pickens gets the win via help from Eli Brody. Eli slides into the ring and attacks Slim with a spear to the mat. The two brawl inside the ring while the referee tries to split them up.

Kosmic Kitty - The winner of the match, Slim Pickens!

The crowd cheers even as Slim and Eli brawl inside the ring.

Ricky Simms - As usual, little is resolved tonight at Dead By Dawn. Tune in two weeks from now for another edition of Overdrive.

Henry Lesher - Tune in for everyone except Slim. How the hell did he win this match anyway?

Ricky Simms - Watch the replay.

Henry Lesher - No.

As we close the show, Slim and Eli are being pulled to opposite corners, Eli aware of the golden opportunity he just missed out on. Sonya gets to her feet slowly and is upset when she realizes she took the loss in the match. Before she has a chance to attack Slim, we fade to the CWA logo.
