IMO best rapper to ever live. back when rap was good and lyrics were actually about something. too bad his newer stuff is meh. Illmatic, Stillmatic and The Lost Tapes... three of my favorite albums of all time for any genre of music. anyone else a fan? |

Not the best rapper to ever live imo (that would prolly be like Dizzee Rascal or something), but he's pretty okay. Illmatic's kinda overrated in my opinion, but it's still nice. |

yea =\ idk i find that rap gets a bad name on forums. and in general pretty much. mainly cuz all the new popular stuff sucks and is an embarrasement and every middle class white kid will tell u the good rap is old school stuff like NWA or wu tang clan wich just isnt true. no offense if u like that stuff i mean its good sometimes i guess. actually no its not. listen to wu tangs lyrics on their first album again. WTF? how is that a classic. same with NWA. they sound like a angry dr suess. but anyway the point is whats popular in rap and whats considered "classic" for the most part dont do it justice or represent the best of the genre. im not saying nas is underground hes obviously not but still id like to hear his name mentioned more than lil wayne or slick rick or watever. |

Wu-Tang Clan ain't nothin' ta fuck with. NWA and Wu-Tang are pretty great, but for modern stuff you've got The Roots, Mos Def, Jay-Z |

Dizzee Rascal's this British guy who made my favourite rap album ever (Boy in da Corner). The production on that album is so sexy. Also Wu-Tang are amazing. ): |
