Frankie, that wouldn't work.

You'd need to divide the total by the number of people who have voted for it for that to work correctly. Otherwise, an album that twenty people put as their first preference would score lower than an album that one person puts as their nineteenth preference.

I think it's fine the way I suggested it.

No, you don't need to divide it all. You could if you wanted to, but it's not necessary.

Yea, but I couldn't do that. It's just too fucking hard enough narrowing it down to just 25.

It makes it that much better.

24.Eric Dolphy - Out to Lunch

You rule for putting this on here.

I reckon a much easier idea would be finding out what ASR's favourite album of each year was. Like everyone posts an album of the year list and at the end, we see which album got the top spot the most number of times in a year.

Good/bad idea?

Guys, forget everything else. Ivan's idea wins.

If no one can agree, maybe we can have a poll to decide how it should be run, ha.

This is made of fail. Also, besides no Beatles or Zappa, I'm surprised Andrew didn't include World/Inferno Friendship Society's 'Addicted To Bad Ideas'.

Now 100% more avant-garde than Ivan!
I made a top twenty-five for the AtEase top 1000 last year, but it's most definitely subjected to change since I got into jazz and hip hop right after I made that list. I'm going to do some thinking on this and post it later.

The only way I could possibly see this working and remain interesting is if we don't count albums made by white people.

Nobody listens to music not made by white people on this forum, you know that!

That's just unfair; no album compares to Addicted to Bad Ideas!
