Alright, so I have to be the first one to make this thread it seems. So isn't everyone excited for the new Radiohead album In Rainbows? I am! They've been making it for so long, and it's nearly here. Not long at all to go now, only a few days. So any thoughts you have on this album, prior to or after the release of In Rainbows, post them here! Or not... you know, it's a free forum and everything, do what you want...

Hell yeah.

I can't wait. I'm quite sure that it's gonna kick gigantic amount of ass. The preview tracks I've heard (House Of Cards, Videotape...) rule.

Question:

Will you pay for it or will you download it for free?

I'll download it for free, like I do with nearly all my music, but this time it'll be legal and I won't feel bad because of it! Not that I ever feel bad for downloading music, but yeah, you know. It would be cool to buy it and everything, but downloading it is so much easier... and I never have any money anyway. I won't be able to get it for another week now (how many days until it's realeased anyway? five or something) 'cos I won't be home on my computer for another week until school starts, so I'll have to put up with a few reviews before I can hear it myself. Can't wait.

Awesome. Still another seven or eight days before I'll hear it, but I don't think they'll dissapoint.

Actually, how are Radiohead doing this? Like the only way to get the album is by downloading it or can you buy it from the stores like normal as well? Reading my comment before just then made me realise that I don't actually know what they're doing, the websites I've read aren't really that clear.

I think that downloading in the only way to get it so far. It'll be released as a CD later.

You can either download it from the site, and pay whatever you want.

Or, you can but the disc box (which includes 2 LP's, 2 CD's and a book I think) for 80 pounds from the site as well.

Like Jiri said though, it will be later normally released on CD, but that won't be for another month or so I don't think.

I still haven't listened to OK Computer and Kid A. And the others, I suppose. I only listened to The Bends once, too.

Maybe I should do that.

I have high expectations for it. The album tracks they played live on the last tour were spectacular.

I actually don't have high expectations for this album. All the hype surrounding it is making it hard to get excited about it. ):
