Because of ihateguitarists I am listening to Living Colour. Their song "Bi" has been on my mind since coming across his Confession topic.

I am not passing judgement or making fun of anyone. Life can be very confusing for some.

Everybody wants you when you're bi
Looking at the girls and eyeing all the guys
Everybody loves you when you're bi
But the tension and the passion's double amplified

My lover told me, well, that she's bi
I wanted to scream, there were tears in my eyes
She said baby, baby, don't you cry
'Cause the one I am with, you've been seeing on the side

Some of you should sample a few other Living Colour songs.

Crimson dress that clings so tight She's out of reach and out of sight

Living Colour was cool. Vernon Reid is pretty good at guitar.

Another thing for me about Living Colour is I always think of Oliver Stone and the reverse.
The lead singer of Living Colour, Corey Glover, was in Platoon so whenever I think of Oliver Stone movies I think of Living Colour and when I think of Living Colour I think of Oliver Stone movies.
I had a real bias against Living Colour when they released their first album, Vivid. I rather liked the harder rock songs on the album but thought some of the songs they injected a little soul into made them sound insincere. My brother and best friend played the album often but it was not until several years later, about the time they released their third album, Stain that I revisited their sound and then got Vivid, Times Up and Stain.
Vernon was good for the band. I mean he could play fast trash fusion/jazz just like a lot of other late 80's early 90's shiny guitarists.
I was listening to Poison's Native Tongue album last night and a few of the songs struck me as being very similar to sounding like Living Colour. So what with that influence and the Confessions thing, I woke up this morning in need of listening to those black boys.

Woot! Is that the only Ozzy you have? I'm assuming you have more.

I think it was a ninth grade talent show at my school that featured a couple of bands. One of the bands did an outstanding version of "Over The Mountain". It really blew me away.
I was friends with a guy who had those first two super break out Ozzy albums back then but never got any of his solo efforts for myself. Just the compilation.
Sure, I will accept them. Send me a message.

Matt doesn't download stuff. I can't believe he declined uploads of the Rush that he didn't have.

Because some Rush sucks?

Because of Sean I am tremendously enjoying Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Because some Rush sucks?

No. Not because of that. He asked me if I would send him Rush CD's for a trade, and I suggested uploading them, and he didn't want to download them.

There are a few not-really-good Rush albums, but they all have something worthwhile on them.

See in this instance I unfortunately allowed the outside influences of three ASR members when loading the cd changer this morning.

Because of Robosteve I am not listening to Paul McCartney and/or Wings even though I had thought of it when I awoke.
Therefore, because of CSC, I did listen to a Butthole Surfers album and because of Thunderfingers, I also listened to two Bad Company albums.

Tatersalad's reasoning is still valid though.

The reason isn't valid (I put the reason) but his point is.
