This will probably not come as a surprise to anyone here, but the only album from the past ten years that I've heard is David Gilmour's On An Island (excluding live and compilation albums, 'cos they don't count).

I want to get Van Der Graaf Generator's reunion album from 2005, though (I think it was '05).

I got Wincing The Night Away by The Shins and it's pretty good.

I'm waiting to get the new albums by The Lovetones and Linkin Park for now.

Hate me, do it and do it again.
The Shins' new album was my favorite out of the two I've heard (Oh, Inverted World oddly didn't surprise me), because it had instantly memorable tracks like "Red Rabbits" and "Sleeping Lessons". Indie rock coming close to topping the charts is seeming like a sign of good things to come.

I really loved the Fillmore release, but I really don't see what was so great about Massey Hall. I found it to be pretty bland. I'm looking forward to his next release, though. The trailer for it looks awesome.

Massey Hall is still #1 on RYM's top albums of 2007. I do not see this changing, unless Radiohead's new one is really, really good. Like...OKC/Kid A good.

21.*

Still, that is the highest ranking out of all his albums, beating the 77th ranked On the Beach. I do not even think this is his best live album, let alone his best work! Ridiculous!

Lol it was at 17 the other day. It's going to pass in about a month or two, its just hype at the moment. Still, I don't wanna discredit the album, its pretty sweet.

Three of the four living Floyds allegedly have new albums on the way.

That is all.

Does anyone have any credible information on when Roger Waters will actually release a new album? They've been saying he's working on a new album since I got into Pink Floyd, and I just really doubt it now. It's about time he actually does make something, though. Amused to Death was released over ten years ago, and that was such a great album.
