The point was that Live At Leeds was made in the early seventies, when The Who were in their (arguable) prime. R30 was made thirty years after the band started, and they are tighter than The Who were thirty-five years ago. I'm not saying that the Leeds concert isn't great (It's pretty outstanding, actually), I'm just saying that Rush is great live. I'm sure I've said this before, but most three piece bands are tight when it comes to the shows. |

I would say Rush is definately tighter then the Who, but the Who's live performances just blow me away. I'd rather listen to the sheer energy and rock and roll-power of "My Generation" live then Rush pull off a perfect "2112" outside of the studio. |
