LYNDON JOHNSON!
proof? i wrote this:

Ever since the assassination of president John F. Kennedy in 1963, conspiracy theories have been constantly across the world. Plots revolving around the mafia, Cuban exiles, communists, and our own government have been pondered in the 41 years since Kennedy’s death.
First, the facts: Kennedy was killed on a political trip in Texas supposedly by Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald was arrested and charged with the murder but denied the accusations claiming he was set up. Here is the first of the untimely deaths, Oswald was killed two days later by Jack Ruby, on live television before he could testify. He was never announced guilty in court and New Orleans Jim Garrison district attorney claimed that Oswald was either part of a conspiracy, framed, or completely uninvolved.
The House Select Committee on Assassinations, established in 1976 to investigate the death of Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. concluded that “President John F. Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald, probably as the result of a conspiracy.”
Recently in the April issue of Rolling Stone an article featured handwritten confessions of former CIA operative and member of Richard Nixon’s Special Investigations Unit E. Howard Hunt from his deathbed. In his confessions, he outlined the Kennedy conspiracy to his son, Howard St. John.
The scenario, according to Hunt, confirms long standing theories that vice-president Lyndon Baines Johnson had Kennedy killed.
The theory connects many top government officials as well as people of a less prestigious backgrounds. Several CIA agents are listed as being involved, including Cord Meyer, David Morales, David Atlee Phillips, and Frank Sturgis. Meyer was a CIA official whose wife had an affair with Kennedy. Meyer’s wife was murdered in 1964 with no murderer ever named. Morales was a “CIA thug”, according to Rolling stone, who died mysteriously in 1978 before he could be questioned by the House Committee on Assassinations. Phillips, according to Hunt, was a middle man who introduced Cuban assassin Antonio Veciana to Oswald. Sturgis, a CIA hired gun, was one of the Watergate burglars put in jail and was once quoted as saying Watergate was part of the JFK cover-up.
“Meyer discusses a plot with [David Atlee] Phillips who brings in William Harvey and Antonio Veciana. He meets with Oswald in Mexico City, then Veciana meets with Frank Sturgis in Miami and enlists David Morales in anticipation of killing JFK there. But LBJ changes itinerary to Dallas, citing personal reasons,” wrote Hunt.
Hunt asserts that Morales found and brought in the “second assassin,” French gunman Lucien Sarti.
“So there it was, according to E. Howard Hunt. LBJ had Kennedy killed. It had long been speculated upon. But now E. Howard was saying that’s the way it was. And that Lee Harvey Oswald wasn’t the only shooter in Dallas. There was also, on the grassy knoll, a French gunman, presumably the Corsican Mafia assassin Lucien Sarti, who has figured prominently on other assassination theories,” said Erik Hedegarrad in the Rolling Stone article “The Last Confessions of E. Howard Hunt”.
Hunt also wrote that Sturgis and Morales personally tried to recruit Hunt into their plot. Sturgis asked Hunt, “are you with us?” to which Hunt asked what he was referring to.
“Killing JFK,” said Sturgis.
E. Howard continues that he responded, “You seem to have everything you need. Why do you need me?”
While there is no way to claim E. Howard Hunt’s confessions are true or not, there is significant incriminating evidence against the people named to be involved in the assassination.
According to an article by Paul Joseph Watson from Prison Planet.com from August 30th, 2006, the night before the assassination took place, LBJ met with Dallas tycoons, FBI moguls, and organized crime kingpins at a Dallas nightclub. His then mistress Madeleine Duncan Brown was interviewed about the night.
“They all went into this conference room. Lyndon didn’t say that much in the meeting and when he came out he grabbed me by the arm and he had this deep voice and he said ‘after tomorrow those S.O.B.’s will never embarrass me again - that’s no threat - that’s a promise’,” said Brown.
Brown also claims that LBJ and oil tycoon H. L. Hunt plotted the assassination since the 1960 Democratic convention
“It was a totally political crime and H. L. Hunt really controlled what actually happened to John Kennedy - he and Lyndon Johnson,” said Brown.
Another strange coincidence: the owner of the nightclub happened to be Jack Ruby, the man who later killed Oswald, and he was present during the meeting. Brown calls this group the “8F group”.
“They had this lodge outside of Dallas and they would meet there. He choose different people to do certain things for him and I’m sure it went on about two years prior to the assassination of John Kennedy,” said Brown.
Brown also labeled Ruby as the “in man” in Texas who was reliable for call girls, drugs, rigged gambling, and contract killings.
“Had the assassination not happened the day it did, Lyndon Johnson would have probably gone to prison - they would have gotten rid of him - he was so involved with some of this,” said Brown.
Brown’s son and nanny also disappeared following the assassination.
“Everything pertaining to what’s happening has never come to the surface. The world will never know the true facts, of what occurred, my motives. The people had, that had so much to gain and had such an ulterior motive for putting me in the position I’m in, will never let the true facts come above board to the world,” said Ruby to reporters around the time of his trial.
“Well you won’t see me again. I tell you that a whole new form of government is going to take over the country, and I know I won’t live to see you another time,” said Ruby. “You must believe me that I know what is taking place, so please with all my heart, you must believe me, because I am counting on you to save this country a lot of blood-shed. As soon as you get out you must read A Texan Looks at Lyndon (by J. Evetts Haley), and it may open your eyes to a lot of things. This man is a Nazi in the worst order.”
The book he mentioned A Texan Looks at Lyndon, Haley attempted to show the corruption of Lyndon Johnson. In the book Haley writes about how three men could have incriminated Johnson in court all died of carbon monoxide poisoning from a car engine.
“Johnson wanted power and with all his knowledge of political strategy and his proven control of congress, he could see wider horizons of power as Vice-President than as Senate Majority Leader. Finally, as Victor Lasky pointed out, Johnson had nursed a lifetime dream to be president,” writes Haley in his book.
LBJ had also been close with FBI director J. Edgar Hoover for the majority of his political career after the FBI cleared Johnson of election fraud. A week after the assassination, LBJ said to Hoover, “You’re more than the head of the federal bureau. As far as I’m concerned you’re my brother and personal friend.” Hoover has been historically labeled as “JFK’s nemesis”.
Veciana, according to Rolling Stone reporter Rob Sheffield, founded a militant group of Cuban exiles who hoped that if Johnson became president, he would invade Cuba and overthrow Castro.
“He testified before the house that he saw his CIA contact in Dallas in August 1963 traveling with Oswald,” said Sheffield. “Three years later, he was shot in the head; he survived but kept his mouth shut.”
Hunt died soon after he told his son these stories. His son reflects back on the mind-blowing confessions he was told.
“By the time he handed me the paper, I was in a state of shock,” St. John says. “His whole life, to me and everybody else, he’d always professed to not know anything about it. But I knew this had to me the truth. If my dad was going to make anything up, he would have made something up about the Mafia, or Castro, or Khrushchev. He didn’t like Johnson. But you don’t falsely implicate your own country, for Christ’s sake. My father is old-school, a dyed-in-the-wood patriot, and that’s the last he would do.”

these conspiracy theories crack me up. people don't want to believe that a single nut job took down the most powerful man in the world, but it's happened before, and happened then.

Recently in the April issue of Rolling Stone...

Way to lose credibility, mate.

This is all baseless speculation, put on the front cover of publications to provide fantasy fodder for the mindless crowd that accepts it. Sales have been low, perhaps? Yeah. I don't believe this shit for a second.

Give me sources from books and not the internet and I'll believe it.

But I do believe his assasination was a conspiracy and Lyndon B. Johnson was in on it, but I don't think he led it.

The Warren Commison which was established to probe the deaths was establihsed by LBJ he appointed a man who kennedy had laid off after the bay of pigs.

It is a fact that the president was shot in two seperate places, not possibly being the same shooter - the warren commison determined he acted alone and this was called bullshit by many. Countless people who knew things disappeared during these events. In 1979 they finally decided Oswald was uninvoled, a patsy, or part of a conspiracy.

LBJ said "those SOB's will never embarras me again" the night before the assassination after a meeting in a Dallas nightclub with Jack Ruby.

"In the video Brown describes the make-up and activities of the "8F group" which revolved socially and politically around Johnson and Hunt and included high rolling oil tycoons, judges and then FBI director J. Edgar Hoover.

The group included Jack Ruby, the Dallas nightclub owner who would later shoot the patsy Lee Harvey Oswald dead on November 24." this was obtained from a video interview of Kennedy's mistress.

Why would E Howard Hunt lie from his deathbed to his son?

Lots of people out there making claims and lots of evidence in favor of it.

Also, Rolling Stone is hardly uncredible.

I will look for books. But really is it that unconvievable? If the people in power planned it, wouldn't it be easy enough to cover it up and lie?

An assassian being killed by another assassain after he had just killed someone is obvious enough that something is up. The uncanny coincedicne of just who that man was and who he knew, how do you explain it?

"Four decades later, the Warren Report is widely regarded as a whitewash, with polls consistently showing that the majority of Americans reject the official version of Kennedy's death."

actually, if you've see the recent ballistics tests, it IS possible that he was shot in 2 separate places from the same trajectory.
using the exit wounds and noting the correct positioning of the car seats (which has been overlooked/ignored by JFK-conspiracy buffs), the trajectory goes back to the sniper's nest in the Texas book depository.

The trajectory is unbelievable.

Whoever the fuck was sitting in front of JFK got shot up too. Through the back AND his arm. How do you explain that? And there was also a shot that was fired that completely missed because it hit under the causeway where the car was going to. And all this with just 3 shots? Bullshit.

i don't get what is so unbelievable about that?? the "magic bullet" went through JFK's neck, into Connelly's back, and because of the downward trajectory went through his right wrist and into his thigh. look at the way he was positioned, and where the bullet was going.

Oswald was an excellent marksman in the marines, how is it "crazy" that he got him in 2 shots?

video (not graphic, don't worry)
