Good match up, Linkteen. Now, while The Doors are one of my favourite bands of all time, and one of the first bands I got into (even before I got into bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Jimi Hendrix Experience), my vote still goes to Pink Floyd, simply because... well, they're my second favourite band of all time. While 68 - 72 was weaker compared to their debut, and weaker still compared to their later effort, it's still a really interesting experience if you listen to the music they were making at that time. I love that experimental sound, and that's what those albums in those years provide. Their best music for me was between The Dark Side Of The Moon and The Final Cut, and most Pink Floyd fans will agree with that. Their weakest time being without Roger, but I still value those albums pretty high, just not up to Pink Floyd standards for me... well, Roger standards. |

what planet did you come from????? hahaha jk I vote for The Doors since they weren't together that long and IMO The Doors realeased more consistant quality albums than Pink Floyd. Plus Floyd's got the most overrated album of all-time=DSOTM*cough* Dont get me wrong i love Pink Floyd but not as much as the Doors. |

Puh-lease. There's been more overrated albums. And out of these two bands, the Doors, seeing as no one else shares the love for Faust. |

I agree. It feels like, I don't know how to explain this, but that they tried to hard, if that makes any sense. That a lot of the creativity sounds forced. Dark Side is a pretty easy, chilled, smooth album. It's really good, and better in my opinion, than The Wall. |

I've heard Time, Money, and Brain Damage. From what I know, all three of those come from DSOTM. I fucking love those 3 songs. I've heard other songs too like Wish You Were Here (Gee, I WONDER where that came from... :cigar:) but I don't know if the other ones I've heard are from DSOTM also. |

Dude, The Wall contains ABITWP2. I like the song, but there a ton of kids in my town who are like "OMGLOLZORZ ITS DISSIN EDUCATION LETS LISTEN TO IT AND CREAM OVER DA ALBUM AND IGNORE EVERYTHING ELSE FLOYD MADE BECAUSE THE WALL IS TEH SHITZORZ!" They say that unless they think ABITWP2 was recored by another artist. Then when I explain to them that they are wrong and I say that's it's Pink Floyd and they reply: "WHO DA FUCK R DEY UR BULLSHITTIN ERIC PRYDZ MADE IT LOL" My town sucks. |
