How good is Flea?
Is he better than the dude from Dream Theater?

Yes, simply because he's not in Dream Theater.

I'd hardly call McCartney "sissy boy". When he was with the early Beatles they kept that image to appeal to fans, but they had sex flying out their asses and eventually got stoned out of their minds frequently. Soon after in Wings he wasn't a good boy either, and I still wouldn't call him a sissy. Something tells me you havn't quite listened to his music.
And Wyman I never found interesting. The only bass on a Rolling Stones song that truly captivated me was "Sympathy for the Devil", which (oops) Richards played bass on.

That "jazz bassists aren't good" comment was really ignorant. You definitely have not heard Jaco Pastorius. Then you go have a fit when somebody disses The Killers (or any other band that only you care about) without hearing them.

Anyway... I had to vote for Geddy.

Also, from an earlier post, if Cliff Burton was on ...And Justice For All, then "To Live Is To Die" wouldn't be the same or exist at all. That song makes the album. But... if he was alive in 1988, then maybe some bass would actually BE ON the album.

I have a feeling Dean only said that because he wanted to disagree with Zach. If you or I had said it he wouldn't have minded.

Sting should be among the best as well. His basslines on Police records (especially Outlandos d'Amour) are really cool.

Damn you quoted my post before I edited it because of my lack of awareness of noticing Micheal Balzary.
