What songs would you want them to play?

“My technique is laughable at times. I have developed a style of my own, I suppose, which creeps around. I don't have to have too much technique for it. I've developed the parts of my technique that are useful to me. I'll never be a very fast guitar player. I don't really know what to say about my style. There's always a melodic intent in there.”-Dave Gilmour.

Syd's dead, the good Pink Floyd won't ever play again.

That's irrelevant to the question.

If we could just join hands..
Why does it matter? I doubt any of us have 500 dollars laying around to go to a Pink Floyd concert.

But if I did, I wouldn't really care what they played.
Mild apprehension.

Live 8 was about as good as it can get. Unless Waters can make his voice not rely on backing singers these days, then I don't see a reason for "one last concert". I don't get why you're not fine with Live 8.

People aren't fine with Live 8 because they want to see it again.

People love this band, they want to see them over and over again. The Who can make a reunion, why can't Floyd? That kind of mentality.

I never said I wasn't fine with Live 8, I know that another concert is almost certainly not going to happen and I know that if the band did another concert, there would be people still begging for more after that. I was just wondering if there were any songs in particullar that you would wish for them to play, that's all.

Because the two surviving leaders of Pink Floyd are assholes in all honesty. They act like teenagers on their views and it gets annoying. Dave needs Roger's lyrics and Roger needs Dave's guitaring or else they're not that great. "Together we stand, divided we fall".

Agreed. These two both need each other to be considered truly great. Floyd isn't Floyd without Roger or David. Or, in a different way, Syd.

Pete Townshend still makes music with Roger Daltrey? (Even though it's not very good)?

Dean wins this arguement.
