Lol, well back on topic, I have honestly not seen anyone who can go crazy on drum fills while at the same time have cymbal noise in the background... he makes it look so effortless and it creates an awesome wall of sound.

Have you seen a Neil Peart drum solo?

Yes. Neil Peart also came nearly 15 years after Moon was doing these things.

No he didn't.

10 then? I don't really care, he was influenced like crazy by both guys in this thread.

Wiki: Early in his career, Peart's style of playing was deeply rooted in hard rock where he drew most of his inspiration from drummers such as Keith Moon and John Bonham, players who were at the forefront of the British hard rock scene.

You're wrong1 And a total sillybear!

Then why don't you state your claim. I'm tired. God.

That's fine. I know them all pretty well.

Better leave her behind with the kids, they're alright.

I point out that Moon influenced Peart and you act an absolute DUMBFUCK. Music always progresses. There's a clip on youtube of a 7 year old playing Stairway to Heaven on the guitar... does that mean he's the best fuckin thing since sliced bread? Of course Peart's gonna be advancing what Moon did. No great drummer is going to go backwards. You make no fucking sense and probably don't even play the drums. Oh by the way, I've seen a clip of a 5 year old playing Peart's stuff. Looks like he's the new winner.

Bonham played the drums because he was loaded. Moon beat the shit out of his drum kit because he was crazy!

Keef Moon, easily. Greatest drummer ever.

I mean, if you play like me, you had better have your own band. Nobody wants that amount of participation from a bass player.

Part of me says Bonzo, the other says Keith. I only have one Who album and 6 Zep albums, so my trust goes to Bonzo. Now, I will say that, of course, that Bonzo was influenced by Keith. But once I get more Who albums, I might still be 50/50 because I enjoy Bonzo's drumming alot.

Yeah because I actually backed my arguments up, and instead of getting a rebuttal argument which is what a forum is for anyway, he starts joking around because he had nothing to say which means clearly "I have no sense of humor." :cigar:

I know you're just pretending that I'm stupid and that you're also messing around, but I'm here to talk music... I was enjoying the beginnings of what I thought could be a Peart/Moon discussion and you just stopped debating intelligently. That is why ASR will never go anywhere because you can't have 10 posts in a row in a topic about music that are intelligent.
