Since nothing is happening, i might as well announce this: I thought and thought, as my turn came up about what album I wanted to upload for my choice in the album club. I saw as my turn came up, I had so many ideas, but I couldn’t decide on what to upload. My first instinct was to upload Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel but I originally decided against it, and a couple others, including Love’s Forever Changes, The Holles’ For Certain Because, Carole King’s Tapestry, The Kinks’ The Kinks are the Village Green Preservation Society and even Talking Heads’ Fear of Music. I thought, and thought, and thought some more…and I came to the realization that it doesn’t matter how many people had heard the album before, and that the one album that defines me the best is the album that I should probably choose, so after much consideration, I’ve decided to upload Simon & Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water as my choice for the album club. Since a lot of people have it already, if you don’t check the last.fm group for the download link. http://www.last.fm/group/Applesauce+Record...5085/1#f4417206 |

Hey now! I think Bridge Over Troubled Water is a decent record! But that's about all I think it is. The lyrics are decent, the melodies are decent, the whole thing just reeks of "ordinary" to me. It's a perfectly listenable album and one of the better "essential" folk albums out there, but it just bores me to tears. I'd give it about a 5.5/10. |

Saw the notification for the album club. My bad. I was on mysterious time. I guess I'll post my album after Eric or whenever. As for Bridge Over Troubled Water: 8/10. |

It must be amazing if the title track was banned from Clear Channel because it reminded people of terrorism! |

Got it today and listened to it twice. I have to say it is quite flawless. There isn't a real weak track on the album. I loved it.
10/10
