Yeah, this album was pretty good. One of the better works from Young I've heard. "Cowgirl in the Sand" for the fucking win. |

When you've unzipped it, on the right of the window, there should be a Folder Tasks section with "Extract all files" under it. Click that and continue. Do that, or just copy and paste the files into a folder. Now Playing: Neil Young - Down By The River |

ROBOTS!
|
Okay, now then... Each song. Cinnamon Girl : 4/5 Not 'omgwfbbqamazing' amazing, but it's good. Catchy, and makes a good intro. Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere: 4.5/5 Fuckin' A. Great song. Round & Round (It Won't Be Long): 3/5 Meh. I didn't like it much. Down By The River: 5/5 Dude! I have been hearing this on the radio all the time, and I loved it, but I didn't even know who made it! Awesome song, glad to have it now. The Losing Edge (When You're On): 4/5 Beats Round & Round, that's for sure. Mostly for the solo, I didn't like the lyrics all that much. Running Dry (Requiem For The Rockets): 3/5 Too folksy for my taste, I didn't like it too much. Cowgirl In The Sand: 5/5 OVERALL: 4/5 |

Zach I probably won't be doing a review this week because I have 3 exams, 2 quizzes, a presentation to give, and a paper to write. I'll give it a listen sometime, and if we've moved on by then, I'm sure you and I will discuss it. |

I can't find a "folder tasks" option, and I only have one file that only opens in Firefox. In fact, it doesn't even load in Firefox, it just says "what would you like to open this program in?" |

This is a great Neil Album. Though I'd choose On The Beach over this, still great. Might I say an excellent choice? Well I just did. |

It's probably because Zach's computer is a piece of shit. Eric has to re-upload everything Zach sends for me. Talk to Eric.

I'm the taxmaaaaaan
|
i listened to it earlier today, and it rules. it changed my imagery of neil young, i thought it was going to be a little bit more country or something for some reason, but it sounds a lot more like CSNY, and you can't go wrong with that. all the songs got 5 stars on my itunes. cinnamon girl is awesome, really catchy, good opener. down by the river was sweeet, i remember when i was listening to the album, i was kind of doing other things on the internet and stuff, and there were like 3 times in a row when i was like "this kicks ass!" and i looked to see what song it was and it was down by the river all three times. i think perhaps the best song on the album though is what looks like the common favorite, cowgirl in the sand. it was definitely the beast of the album. worst song was probably running dry (requiem for the rockets), i almost gave it 4 stars it probably should have almost gotten 3 stars, but i think im a little more generous with my stars than most people edit: i really hope this continues like this for atleast a few rotations through the list, this is a really cool idea |

Now 100% more avant-garde than Ivan!
|
Not his best, but my favorite of his albums pre-Ditch Trilogy by far. The live version of Cowgirl in the Sand off of Fillmore East 1971 is fucking INTENSE. |
