I like their cover of (Nothing But) Flowers, but I've yet to hear anything from them.

This one sounds promising.

Well I'm almost positive no one here has even heard of them so I guess that's a plus.

this was a very good album. i don't have any jazz music, and i was excited about this coming into it. i played it while doing other stuff, and it all kind of just blended into each other. it was a blend of good, unlike usual blended sounding music, but it sounded blended to me nevertheless. probably because it was my first listen and because i was doing other stuff. overall, it was a good album, i'd probably give it a 7/10, i guess the only knock on it was that it just sounded the same all through. but i enjoyed it

i haven't finished the whole album yet, im just so excited about the first half so far that i had to write a review now. i'll edit in my review of the last half once its done playing.

i heard of this band from my brother, and i checked them out once and i didn't really like it. i knew i didn't have too good of a sample of them though, so when i saw that the next album was them i was excited to get a better feel for them. i was veeerrry pleasantly surprised. the first 5 tracks are sheer genius in my opinion. lightning rod is a nice, soft song, i dont know i guess i would have chosen i different song for an opener just because i think an opener should be like a toe-tapper song, something that really gets you going. but its a brilliant song either way. it's a song that really seems to pluck at your inner strings. the next 3 are more "toe-tapping" songs, catchy melodies. manifest destiny rules. one man wrecking machine i know i've heard before, im guessing its like the hit of the album, right? i know i've heard it somewhere but i just cant think of where. i also enjoyed the captain a lot. it reminds me of one of my favorite lesser known bands, storyhill, who i've put a few plugs in around here every once in a while. new underground is another great song, i think it would be my choice for an opener. it just like wakes you up. i loooove the chorus of this song. it's a really catchy song. that's all i have so far, i'll post the rest when i finish the album

edit: ok i finished it, and i'll admit the last half wasn't as spectacular as the first half. but it still would have been like the highlight of most other modern bands' careers. it topped off an incredible album very well.

Glad to hear you like it, I thought you might. And I think One Man Wrecking Machine was in Disturbia, but I haven't seen it.
By the way, if the genre says Boulder Music, you can ignore it...it's just what my friends and I call this type of music.

My first impression is that's I think it's good.

I'll do a review later after I listen to it again, seeing as I listened to it in the wee hours of the morning.
