Bump.

I got around to listening to Easter Everywhere. It was recommended that I try it before I completely write off this band. It is a huge improvement over Psychedelic Sounds. The electric jug is not nearly as annoying as on their debut and actually fits (!) in with the songs. Gone is the messy garage aspect of the first album and is replaced with a lush beauty reminiscent to that of The Velvet Underground's self-titled. Roky Erickson delivers much more of a convincing vocal performance than on the debut. This guy is really stellar in places, especially on the last track. The production is a huge step up. Oh, and a nice Dylan cover as well.

This album doesn't scream "psychedelic masterpiece" but it is pleasant to listen to. Overall, I'd give it a solid 4/5. Recommended.

Hooray!!!
