Fuck the poeleece!

I'm hoping on the bandwagon and choosing We're Only in it For the Money as well. Runners-up are Joe's Garage, Absolutely Free, and the terribly under appreciated You Are What You Is. |

My personal favorite is Hot Rats, but he has so many albums out there that it's hard to pick one favorite. Uncle Meat is awesome too, I love "We Can Shoot You". |

I really don't like You Are What You Is, though the suite at the end is really nice. Something about the production just bothers me, though. It sounds so cluttered. |

Out of the six Frank Zappa albums I own (two being on record, and one of them I haven't even listened to), I'm choosing We're Only in it For the Money as my favourite. He has so many albums that it's hard just to decide which one to get next. |

Freak Out! Absolutely Free We're Only in it For the Money Over-Nite Sensation (I only have this on record, so unfortunately I don't listen to it that often) Apostrophe (') Just Another Band from L.A. (this is the album I haven't listened to yet) And that list is in no order of anything. |

Giddy up. It's more of a matter of finding them on the internet. The two ones that I have on record are actually my dad's, and so now I claim them as mine. Yeah, I'm a pirate. |

Thinkin' one thing and doin' another
|
Freak Out! is definetely my choice, because he is still able to write awesome melodies and music while keeping the lyrics biting and satiric (is that a word). I think that on We're Only In It For The Money, Frank gets tied up in the lyrics a little too much and the music seems to be patchy in places. Still an awesome album though. Hot Rats is overrated, best fusion album ever my tit! It does get boring in places but people won't admit it. Like, does there have to be a 7 minute saxophone solo over two chords on the Gumbo Variations? No sir. |

I haven't heard enough fusion to judge, but Hot Rats is very, very nice. I don't find it boring at all. Then again, I listen to some of the most tedious music ever, so boring me is a very hard thing to do. |
