Referring to Pepper as "don't bother" is silly cakes.

You people are silly!

Way to make you sound gay.

Well you all can kill me, but I'm not a huge fan of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. I just dont really care for the poppyness to it I guess. There are some decent songs, but I dont know...it's just not my thing. I love songs like Let It Be, (and yes) Hey Jude, The Long and Winding Road a lot, so should I look into albums like Let It Be, Abbey Road, and The White Album or what, because I don't know much about the Bealtes history.

Really, that's a shame, it's a great record. I don't wanna re-state things that have been said a million times about it. I think I like it because it (or Revovler) is the height of their creativity, group activity, and overall I think that some of the Beatles' best tunes came from this era. Even if you don't like all the more poppy songs (which I love - I love every single song) "A Day in the Life" which, to me is the epitome of the Beatles' genius, because it exemplifies how well John and Paul completed each other, and the orchestral orgasm is just something else, and John's vocals are fucking chilling. Or how bout the absolutely gorgeous "She's Leaving Home" with one of the most amazing string arrangements on a Beatles' song, and some of Paul's finest story-telling lyrics. A very moving song indeed. Or George's "Within You Without You" which has some of the best lyrics on the album, and definitely some of the most interesting music, and really, in my opinion was the height of his Indian-type songs. Or how about John's "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" which just evokes such imagery. I could go on an on about how each track is brilliant, because in my estimation, what makes each track so goddamn brilliant is that not only are they all so different, they each have these small details that add to the song, and make it a masterpiece. I think that while Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in my own personal opinion isn't their best, it's definitely in the top three or four. I think its an important album in the Beatles' history, and in pop music..probably not the most important, but it still has a lot of importance. It's an amazing album..and this may just be the Beatles fan inside me talking, but I swear to God, every track is unique and amazing, even the ones I don't like as much are still fucking good. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is an experience that a lot of Beatles fans have had, and so many talk about it, that some of us get sick of it, or whatever, but I recently got back into it, and I'm really thankful that I did, because this album literally did change my life, it's an amazing record, and I love it to death

I agree. Pepper isn't that great. I recommend The Beatles, it's a truly wonderful album.

Yeah, or maybe I'll get the Beatles 1. I don't think Sgt. Pepper is bad, I just don't think it's that great.

That's a great album, not a good starting album though. Pepper's a better starting album, or "1" is in my opinion the best place to start from

Nice!

I already have Piper in mono and it doesn't sound all too great. This deluxe edition should be great anyway.

Oh mang! It's being released on my birthday too!

Now I have to find a way to suggest it to mommy without making it apparent.
