As you all know, this year marks the 40th Anniversary of 1967, one of the best years in music, I'm gonna keep this topic pinned, and come next year, we'll do the same thing for 1968

Here are a list of dates of watch for..some of them are vague, because Wikipedia was vague..

I suggest on the day of the album's release we all listen to the said album

Ten Years After Ten Years After- October 27, 1967
Cream - Disraeli Gears – November 1967
Love - Forever Changes - November 1967

Bob Dylan - John Wesley Harding – December 27, 1967
Leonard Cohen - Songs of Leonard Cohen - December 27, 1967

If you have another suggestion for an album (Not counting compilation albums) Feel free to PM me or any other member of the staff with the name of the performer, album title, and date, and we'll add it up there

Happy birthday! I'm listening to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band now in celebration. Truly an amazing album. On one of the morning shows here in Australia they had a Beatles tribute band playing songs off the album on their show. It was awesome.

As you can see, I've changed my avatar and signature. I've also listened to the album itself, while making this wallpaper. ^_^

Hate me, do it and do it again.
It's an amazing album, I'll always think that. I won't whore it out, I'll give it a listen or two, but I'm aware of it's brilliance and it's impact. Just a fantastic record.

I'll make sure to listen to it today.

Oh, and what do we do about albums whose release dates have already passed?

I might listen to it today.

Then listen to Freak Out! afterwards, just to spite it.

But yeah, good album.

It would be really cool if you could listen to all the Sgt. Pepper recordings. All the stuff they didn't use, the different mixes, each individual track. Only in dreams.
