Saw this amazing Beatles tribute band for the third time tonight. This was by far the best. Set List: I Saw Her Standing There, I Want to Hold Your Hand, This Boy, She Loves You, All My Loving, It Won't Be Long, A Hard Days Night, I Should've Known Better, Yesterday, You've Got to Hide Your Love Away, Yellow Submarine, If I Needed Someone, Help!, Long Tall Sally, Roll Over Beethoven, Ticket to Ride, Twist and Shout ~End of Part One~ ~Intermission~ ~End of Intermission~ ~Part Two~ Pepperland, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band/With a Little Help From My Friends, It's All Too Much, Hey Bulldog, Hello Goodbye, All You Need is Love, Strawberry Fields Forever, A Day in the Life ~End of Part Two~ ~Part Three: White Album/Abbey Road/Let it Be~ Blackbird, The Ballad of John and Yoko, Here Comes the Sun, Octopus's Garden, Come Together, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Get Back, You Never Give Me Your Money, Sun King, Mean Mr. Mustard, Polythene Pam, She Came in Through the Bathroom Window, Golden Slumbers, Carry that Weight, The End ~End of Part Three~ ~Part Four: Encore~ Revolution, Hey Jude My friend and I became the sixth and seventh members of the band during Hey Jude, the guy that they referred to as their George Martin gave us tambourines. After the show, we got their autographs, and i came up with the best idea ever. I asked Paul, "Do you often see your father?" and, unfortunately, he did not realize the joke, and spoke as himself, and said that his father just died recently. Sure, make me feel bad for asking a question. Then I told him the joke and he started laughing. I then asked John, "How did you find America?" and he had heard what I asked Paul, and responded, "Turned left at Greenland." I asked George, "What do you call that hairstyle you're wearing?" and of course his response, "Arthur." Then I got to Ringo, who kept character better than the rest of them (even before I got to him he was talking to people exactly like Ringo) and I asked him, "What do you call that collar," and without missing a beat, he responded "A collar." Their voices, their musical ability, and John's face, all of them absolutely perfect. It was an amazing concert. |
