They're the fucking Beatles. They invented Rock and Roll

Not true. They revolutionzied it completely, but they did not start it.

They (pretty much) started Rock and Roll.

Not really. Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Jerry Lee Lewis and others were the pioneers of rock and roll back in the 50's.

Couldn't have said it better.

Band Name: Opeth
Best Album:Damnation
If you don't want any death metal growls, get Damnation.

Where could I get that? :dodido:

I could be a dick, and say "The music store or websites.", but I'll give you the answer that you want and expect me to say, which is "I'll send it to you after I get all of those albums waiting to get uploaded from my signature."

That reminds me. I need to do that.

Name: The Red Hot Chili Peppers
Genre: Alternative, Funk, Rap-Rock, Rock
Rating: 9
Best Album: Stadium Arcadium, BloodSugarSexMagik, Californication
Songs:
- All Around: "Californication"
- Loudest: "Suck My Kiss"
- Most Relaxing: "Breaking The Girl"
- Most Known: "Dani California", "Under The Bridge", "By The Way"
- Represents: "Stadium Arcadium"
Similar Artists: Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, Primus, Gorillaz.. I really dunno'.
Coolest Thing About Them: They're kind of like Radiohead, in which their sound changes with every album. Whether it's for the good or the bad, that's up to you. Killer radio hits that probably all of you have heard whether you know it or not. Early stuff is pretty weird, 90s' stuff is tops, and their latest album is a double CD beauty.

Believe it or not, their early stuff is what represents them. It's pretty weird compared to By The Way or Stadium Arcadium, but those later albums are "pretty weird" when compared to their funk-origins of Freaky Styley and Mother's Milk.

Yes I know, I read their Last page a lot and fans always bitch about how their early stuff is way better. I like it but I could never get into them if it wasn't for their 90's stuff.

And like Zach said, it's all personal opinions in here. I just don't think "Party On Your Pussy" would be a good intro for newcomers compared to something like "Under The Bridge".

Yea, but two of those are their best. Mother's MIlk from the 80's and Stadium Arcadium are the only ones from the other decades that compete with them.

By The Way is really great, too. Do you like One Hot Minute?

Yea, I like it a lot. It's underrated I think. Not as good as their other material since without Frusciante they kind-of lost their gel, but they still managed to make some kick-ass tunes.

The thing is, I think a lot of the guitar parts on there are a lot like Frusciante's part on Stadium Arcadium, even though John said he doesn't like the parts. I think Dave Nivarro did a pretty good job.

Breaking The Girl is relaxing? I reckon it's really intense, especially during the 'pots and pans' freak out. My vote would be Road Trippin'

I was going to put "If" off their new album, but I think "Breaking The Girl" is really relaxing and extremely sad.

I was thinking along the lines of "I Could Of Lied". Good thing you didn't choose "Pea" from One Hot Minute. :cigar:
