You shouldn't bother putting up who's gonna 'receive' each album. Cause I'm sure as hell not gonna send it to every person that asked. I'm just gonna upload it and post it here.

I'll do this, but I won't be able to send on Christmas Day. Actually, I don't know how this works, really. If two people want the same album, do the two people get the same link from the same person? Would a whole pool of the SendSpace links be less "personal" to the receiver?

I'd like:

The Allman Brothers Band - At Fillmore East
Ray Charles - Modern Sounds In Country And Western Music
Cream - Wheels Of Fire
George Harrison - 33 & 1/3
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
Steely Dan - Aja
Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble - Texas Flood
Stevie Wonder - Talking Book
Any essential albums by:
Elvis Costello
Miles Davis (Except Birth Of The Cool, Kind Of Blue and Bitches Brew)
Elvis Presley
Bruce Springsteen

I can give ANYTHING from my list of 600+ albums. So, please, look at it, and tell me what you want. You gotta want something from it.
List - Scroll Down

As for the requests, Ivan's getting Rocket To Russia, and Dean's getting Jazz from me. My A Day At The Races isn't good quality.

Yeah, I agree, I'd make more sense, and make it a lot easier just for everyone to post up in here.

Yea, that's a good idea. We'll just all post the links on X-mas day.

So is it cool if I just post some great albums that I think most of you would enjoy, and you all can just pick and choose from them and download them at your own will.

Cause honestly, i am too damn lazy to look at everyone's lists to see which albums to upload. Even if I did other people will just upload them too. I say everyone just posts some great albums in here and therefore everyone contributes a little and we all benefit a lot "From each according to his music collection, to each according to his need" (Mmmmm...communism). I don't want to shake the boat too much though, Zach you started this topic so it is your call.

No you can do that if you want. :gangster:

So yea everyone, post links in this topic the day of X-mas. If multiple people upload the same thing by mistake it won't make a difference.

Could anyone just post a non-member-specific list of the albums requested thus far?

I think I may just post albums that I'd like people to listen to, then. I'll post a definitive list tomorrow.

I'll take these one off your back, Mike.

The Eagles - Hotel California
Billy Joel - The Stranger
Nirvana - Nevermind [With "Endless, Nameless"]
Rocket To Russia - The Ramones
Sex Pistols - Nevermind The Bollocks
The Zombies - Oddessey And Oracle

Then I'll post Queen's Jazz, and maybe (maybe) I'll post some surprises.

The thing is, I won't be able to post this on Christmas day. I'll post the links on December 23rd, and then you can download them on the 25th. (Yeah, right.)

Also, please, everybody should use SendSpace to upload, preferably in .zip files. This site keeps the file up for a week, but has no download limit.

I'm the taxmaaaaaan
if someone could explain to me how to upload albums, i would like to put up a few. i don't know, everyone here probably already has all the albums i have, but i for sure would want to upload a certain album just to kind of get a good local band's name out.

and i know this site is kind of half-love and half-hate on led zeppelin, but i do have the whole zep collection, so if anyone's interested in any of them...
anyone for tennis?
