OJ Simpson wrote a new book, called ""If I Did it, Here's How it" There's also going to be a special on FOX, i believe airing on November 27 and 29 (Monday and Wednesday) The premise is that Simpson is saying "If I did do this (hypothetically) here's how I would have done it" In 1995, OJ Simpson was acquitted for the crime of the brutal murder of Nicole Brown Smith, his ex-wife, and her friend Ron Goldman. Many people view it as a confession on his part, and they can't do a god damn thing about it, because under the fifth amendment, he can't be tried again because of the double jeapordy clause. This kinda thing makes me sick really. Ten years after the thing happened, after the whole thing is subsided, he wants to make people virtually re-live what happened. And what for? Money..to be in the limelight again..it makes me absolutely sick, and disgusted. To make the Goldmans and the Browns re-live what happened in 1994/5 is absolutely awful. I mean, Nicole Brown, the mother of HIS CHILDREN is dead, and Ron Goldman, sister of Kim Goldman and son of Fred Goldman is dead.. A quote from Kim Goldman kind of summarises my feelings on the whole thing

Wait, wait, wait. "If I Did It?" O.J., the whole world knows you did do it. And if you didn't do it, how do you know what happened? Stop treating us all like we're dumber than wet sacks of shit. Eric, your whole post is a good way of putting things. That quote is pretty much truth, too. |

He's basically saying If I did it hypothetically, here's how I would have done it. Many people think it's just a confession, with him some things in respect to methods he would have used to prevent getting caught |

well he could be possible put up on trial agian if they could get federal charges then they could take him to federal court. Timothy McVeigh went to court twice one of the trials was by the state of Oklahoma and the other was in a federal court. i doubt tho that they could take o.j. to federal court. |

OJ, I think was just trying to get back into the spotlight. But, perhaps it was just his way of saying "Fuck you!" to the media that has hounded and blasted him for years. Maybe it was just his way of letting out all of that stress that has formed over the years. Who knows? Nonetheless, it was done in poor taste and I think that Simpson should be ashamed of himself. |

Didn't they cancel the book and the show because the public outcry against it was so huge? My teacher told us this morning. I would've liked to see it. |

yeah. but i bet 10 million dollars it'll end up on the internet. i think he was just bragging. like, he was saying "i killed my wife. you idiots let me go free. now i'll throw the fact that i did and got away with it in your faces just because i can." killers in general like to brag and feel proud of their crimes. he's such a psycho. it would've made for great tv, though. |
