I think some of you are letting your personal fantasies and blind faith in your hero/celebrity get the better of your unbiased thinking.
Secondly, what difference does it make? Perhaps some of the Paul McCartney star is very much tarnished by his true and personal behavior.
Why do some of you even begin to think you know what he is like away from an interview you have seen or the sentiments of your favorite Beatles/McCartney song.
If he did or did not slap a woman would that cause you to mature a little and see things in this big old world a little differently?
How does it personally affect you in your daily life? You still have to go to school or work and support yourself.
Do not be shocked because you do not know all there is to know about a person you have never talked with or anyone else for that matter. You can, however be understanding and sympathitic.
If you feel disillusionment from stories of your personal heroes or celebrities and you choose to believe and take personally those stories then perhaps you should look at yourself more and your favorite McCartney pose less.
Now I understand that some of you just want to talk about whatever is on your mind and some of you are still very impressionable and we all have our ways of getting attention and relating to others.
I don't want to weigh down your emotions so whoever is next can type the usual silly  yar srsly, or Imao, or even a  :punk: smilie so go 'head. "pwn!" away there dinosaur breath.

You maybe right about SOME of the Paul fans. However, most of the comments i have read, have been intelligent and not biased one way or the other. i first of all, am a BIGGER john fan than i am of Pauly, but i still don't see Paul committing any of the crimes in the degree this article said he did. And it isn't practical for a man like hime to committ ALL of the "alleged" actions written up in what was found to be a phony news paper article anyway. Paul has more sense than that, and can get ANY fucking woman he pleases. Seariously, think about it, he's Paul fucking McCartney!!! He doesn't need to feel entrapped nor beat a woman around if he's having problems and doesn't want her around anymore. He, like he's done so far, will just file a devorce, and MOVE the fuck ON!! (i can just see it . . *Heather goes on a rant and Paul makes a :meh: and while filing the devorce papers saying "Bitch Please!" *)

You are right though, there are many disillusioned people and biased fans out there who will probably make the same mistake over and over again in the future, by being ignorant out of infatuation of a star. But this time round, really, both the people at this forum and Paul have alot more commen sense then you give credit for in that comment you posted. This is just like the Cobey thing, because the woman didn't get what she expected out of the super star, and felt that the super star "snubbed" her in some fashion, she has to go bullshitting to get more out of him, out of spite. :gangster:

Isn't Paul like an advocate for Women's rights?

Saying Paul beats her is like saying Mark Folley molests children, it's just not true.

I don't know what to believe. I don't know Heather, and I don't know Paul, so I have no idea how they would be like in real life away from the press.

I do wish to believe that all the accusations lobbed Paul are false, but I don't know that. And I wish to believe Heather is making up lies to make the image she's recieved less worse.

But to be real, I just don't know, and that's that.

Well NOONE knows . . .

it'll be cleared up soon enough, and the eventual truth will come. We'll all just have to wait a while till the case has a final verdict.

I saw on television today that the guy who had a big part in introducing Paul to Heather wanted to publicly apologize to Paul for ever having introduced him to her in the first place!
If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.

Well I have a question..

Paul and Heather were almost ALWAYS in the public eye, right?

If Paul had stabbed her with the wine glass or grabbed her by the throat.. wouldn't there be some sort of pictures taken by the press with her like.. having scars and bruises?

They would all be too distracted from looking at her fake leg.

They can cover it up. You hear about all sorts of stuff like this that really happened that has been kept out of view by makeup and the like. Flashy clothing, whatever.

I don't believe her. I just don't.

Ahh! but either you dont believe it or you dont want to believe it.

Theres "a fine line" there lol

But then again he is quite a control freak remember let it be!

The Beatles didnt just hate him all those years for nothing.

George Ringo and John were so close after the break up they were always still together.

He seems like a nice guy on camera and all but none of us reallt know him personally so we cant really say if he's innocent or not.

But like George said Every famous person has a big chip on their in shoulder, in other words "The more money you earn the more problems you have on top of it."

Alot of celebrates and musicans are really screwed up.

Most people you meet are really nice in the begginging but when you live with them then you find out hwo they really are.

Paul cant even stick with the same band for that long.

Not many people that really got to know him taht well do stick with him.

I think we shouldnt be too critical but we should take in account heathers view more. We should be more open about it because you never know.

I guess some of it can be true, but the fact that she remembers exactly when each thing happened is a little strange. And a good deal of the stuff are basically a little whiny....I'm talking about the claims where she says Paul didn't go over the moon every single chance he got to make sure she was comfortable and her charmed lifestyle wasn't interfered with at all.

And if he was such a horrible brute, why didn't she divorce him four years ago when it started to happen? A lot of what she says just makes her look a little more retarded.

Just about everything there is to be said about Paul McCartney's youth has been said, and nothing like this has ever really come out (the spousal abuse stories are usually linked with Lennon), and I don't really think you develop these acts of physical violence as an old man (sorry, but come on, he's 64, she's 40-something....where's the self-defense? we know she's pushy enough).
My Beatles Trading Post (Updated Regularly)

"George had just come off tour, I'd flown in specially from England, Ringo had flown in specially, too, I think, and John wouldn't show up! He wouldn't come from across the park! George got on the phone, yelled, 'Take those fucking shades off and come over here, you!' John still wouldn't come over. He had a balloon delivered with a sign saying, LISTEN TO THIS BALLOON. It was all quite far out." -Paul McCartney

I could really care less about other peoples' personal lives. I say the press leaves them alone before even more damage has been done.

 As usual, we are in agreement.

Even if it was true (which I seriously doubt), I bet none of this would be happening if Paul had gotten the damn prenup.

LATEST:

MISSING DOCUMENTS FROM McCARTNEY LEAK

The leaked divorce documents of SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY's estranged wife HEATHER MILLS have come under further scrutiny, as it has emerged that five crucial pages were reportedly witheld. The court papers, which were published in the press on Thursday (18OCT06), detail a string of shocking allegations against the former BEATLE, including accusations of violence and excessive substance abuse during their marriage. But new reports suggest that the missing documents cast ex model Mills in an unflattering light, hence their exclusion from the leak. Mills has rubbished speculation she was responsible for the exposure of the dossier. A source close to the case tells British newspaper The Times, "I think you will find that there was something in those pages that was derogatory about Heather."
"I'm not going to say anything because nobody believes me when I do." - Ringo

" As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot." - John

"Us, communists? Why, we can't be communists. We're the world's number one capitalists. Imagine us communists!" - Paul

"I think people who truly can live a life in music are telling the world, 'You can have my love, you can have my smiles. Forget the bad parts, you don't need them. Just take the music, the goodness, because it's the very best, and it's the part I give most willingly." - George
