i hate politics, i hate politicians, i hate political commercials all political commercials slander the opponents instead of talking about their own campaign perfect example: here in wisconsin there is this guy named steve kagen running for congress, he is a doctor, and the main slander on him is that he filed lawsuits against patients that didnt pay their bills, and the ads end with the line, "Steve Kagen, Dr. Millionaire" the people who run those ads are so stupid, here in america we do not have free health care--people have to pay their medical bills, kagen is not just taking the money from them because he wants to be even more rich than he already is, he is getting the money that is legally his and another thing, OF COURSE HE IS RICH, HES A POLITICIAN, if you arent rich you will never make it in politics, just look at our president so to any politicians that may read this: FOCUS ON YOUR OWN CAMPAIGN, LET THE OTHER CANDIDATE FOCUS ON THEIRS, LET THE VOTERS DECIDE WHO IS BETTER WITHOUT YOUR SLANDER TO BRING THEM DOWN I'm Joe Schaefer and I approve this message. |

Calm down, it's just Congressional elections. They run these messages all the time during elections. In Virginia (the good part, near DC) we have these two clowns running for office, who keep running this little inside joke that one of them hates puppies. So said nominee keeps running ads saying he loves puppies and that the other guy is only slandering him, and then turns around and trashes the other nominee ![]() Then in the commercial launched by the other candidate, he talks about how the first one says he loves puppies, but then talks about his records with Bush, who he supports. And ends the commercial by saying 'Michael Steele, likes puppies, loves George Bush!' with a picture of him and Bush in a little heart. It's so ridulous.

It can't be as bad as the Verizon commercials with the gay guy talking about using Verizon shit in a hot tub in Las Vegas, then the entire room pretends to be ghetto. Because we get that every commercial break, ever station, every... oh god I hate them. |

here in madison wisconsin, magnum (moderate) is runining against tammy baldwin (MOST LIBERAL CRAZY MONSTER EVER!
) and the advertising is SO one sided it drives me mad. (Baldwin WILL win, there isnt even a question, because madison is UBER liberal, but the few Republicans here just want to give her a little scare.)There are signs up that say "TAMMY= EDUCATION" "TAMMY BALDWIN CARES FOR STUDENTS" "TAMMY BALDWIN = NOT BUSH" (lol thank you...i could figure that one out) Same thing with our CRAZY governor JIM DOYLE . All i see are advertisements that say DOYLE= EDUCATION, DOYLE= STUDENTS!!! YIPPEE!! DOYLE= NOT BUSH.WTF does that really TELL US?? Doyle has done nothing but raise tuition, taxes, and spend our money in rediculous ways. I am so fricken sick of living in a liberal stronghold. no offense liberals on this site, but it's been said that a "madison liberal" is a different BREED than a normal liberal...waaaaaaay out there. Do people not think i'm SMART enough to have my OWN opinions about things? lol do i really NEED to see the sidewalks covered with "MARK GREEN= BUSH, VOTE DOYLE!!" (Mark Green is the Republican running against him for governor) I'm voting for Green, because of MY BELIEFS! not the million and one political fliers that i get in the mail each day (99.999999% Doyle) wow...i needed that rant sorry guys!! lol |

Haha, Yes! Those ads are hilarious. I love it when the "puppy hater" comes back with an ad talking about what he'll do in office, and at the end he turns to the camera with a huge smile on his face holding a bunch of puppies. Haha! Politics are hilarious. |

Nevada is currently in the midst of a large political hubbub. We have two people running for governor, two people running for congress, and various other running for various other offices, so I see political ads all the time. |

Wow, dirty rotten politics have been played in America since the day She was born, what makes you think that now, after you've seen a few commercials one too many times that it's time for it to stop? And I think that we're better off with elites and rich folk running things than we are with the huddled masses yearning to be free. I mean, generally, the rich folk, are more educated than your average schmuck off the street. And our Founding Fathers knew this, that's why we don't directly elect the president. I trust the average American voter as far as you can throw my 8th of a ton. |

"Attack ads" are ridiculous. They have no affect on the way I vote. I vote depending on what the candidate stands for, so sometimes positive ads talking about their positions do affect the way I vote. I certainly do not see them stopping any time soon. |
