Well I just don't get why you don't have some essential songs by essential bands.

Nowhere Man
I've only created two so far.
First is, like most people have, an 'On The Road' one, some real 'driving songs' (On The Road Again by Canned Heat, Highway Star, Green Onion), some more leaning towards the 'wandering' theme of the Kerouac book, motorway mysticism,... (America by Simon and Garfunkel, Riders on the Storm, The Weight, Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again, Hotel California).

The other one is jealousy-themed.

No Reply - The Beatles
New Kid in Town - The Eagles
Caroline Says I - Lou Reed
I Put a Spell on You - Screamin' Jay Hawkins (or Creedence Clearwater Revival, but I'm not sure whether that version has the "I don't care that you don't want me / I'm yours right now"-part)
Run for Your Life - The Beatles
Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat - Bob Dylan
You Can't Do That - The Beatles again
Satellite of Love - Lou Reed ("I've been told / that you've been bold" etc)
and of course
Jealous Guy - John Lennon

I'm deliberating the inclusion of Visions of Johanna ("just Louise and her lover, so entwined") and Lou Reed's Goodnight Ladies. Suggestions more than welcome.
