RHCP have quite a few greats - "By The Way", "Stadium Arcadium" and the underrated "Blood Sugar Sex Magik".

Hmm, for some reason I just can't get into RHCP's earlier funk stuff, like BSSM. Their newer stuff is great though.

Yeah it took me a while to like it, but when I read Anthony's book about it all, it made me appreciate it a lot more. There's more than just "Under the Bridge" in their back catalog.

I like some songs like My Friends, but those Hendrix covers, I hate to say it, are terrible (IMO). D=

=( I love their version Fire, it's fantastic. I also love the Stve Wonder cover of Higher Ground.

P.S. My Friends is hardly their funk period; it's during their "lost" period without Frusciante, which I do't get the hate towards.

Their history seems kind of confusing, but all I know is that I like the time with Frusciante the best.

Yep. A complicated history for a complicated band.

Great music though.

What are some of your favourite title tracks from an album? The Beatles had 5 (PPM, AHDN, Help, Sgt Peppers, LIB). My favourite from those ones is probably Let It Be.

Other great ones include

Let It Bleed
A Quick One
Who Are You
John Wesley Harding
Astral Weeks

What's your favourite?

They Had Magical Mystery Tour and Yellow Submarine, also

Here's another one:

'Street Hassle'.

And, in a way, 'Berlin', if you count this version, even though it's not exactly the same as the one on the album itself.
