you really only need an extensive compilation of theirs, preferably something with live material on it. 2 discs, something big, but not really complete.

I disagree, they have 3 proper studio albums (Goodbye doesn't count, its mostly just crappy live jams) which you might as well get anyway cos they're all solid. Disraeli Gears is essential though, probably my second or third favourite psychedelic album

disraeli gears was very influential, as was the other two of their trilogy. but i don't think they hold up quite as good today, if you get what i'm saying. too much filler. still influential very much influential influence dear.

The very existence of them as a supergroup/power trio is very influential. No cream = no Zeppelin, no latter day who and a number of other bands.

Cream are a great group! Both their debut & "Disraeli Gears" are great blues-psychedelic albums. That's all I have right now, I may get "Wheels of Fire" eventually.
