i personally enjoy lengthy jams, it makes for an extremely emotionally heavy show

and i'm really into the dead now too. i think my favorite concert is from september '72 at the moment.

yeah the allman brothers fillmore album is amazing as well

When the Allman Borthers Band went on those lenghty jams it was orgasm.
The 22 minutes of Whippin' Post live, it's just too much.

:whathesaid:

Well, maybe not the best, but one of the more overlooked ones.

Yeah, there's plenty of other great live albums. Subhumans' Live in a Dive and Andrew Birds' Fingerlings series are sexellent.

I've been loving the live version of S.F. Sorrow, Resurrection. And of course the Tremeloes' Live In Cabaret.
To The Bone, by the Kinks also is highly underrated.
I've rediscovered some others: The Animals' Rip It To Shreds! or Live at the Club A Go Go, are both quite great. And The Yardbirds with Sonny Boy Williamson, I haven't listened to that one in a while but I still think it's great.

Still..... after all this time Five Live Yardbirds is my favourite live album of all time. Just plain amazing.

I really like P*U*L*S*E, especially the DVD. Also Live At Pompeii and Ummagumma are great live recordings of Floyd's early days.

And there's a great video on YouTube of A Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers live. Best YouTube video ever.

Aren't those the only ones you have?

I'm sure even if I had, I'd still have the same opinion I have now.
