Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin Killed

It was weird about his death because I was told that Irwin said that if anything were to happen to him, the first thing everyone would think was that he was hurt/killed by a crocodile. Unfortunately bad luck got to him.

I loved him and the work he did, and I really enjoyed his shows. He left a lasting legacy with all the work he did for the environment, for animals, and for mankind in general. He will be sorely missed.

Rest in peace, Steve. We'll miss you.

This is so sad! I loved Steve Irwin and his work. Many people did. He was a great entertainer, and it takes a lot of guts to do what he did. He was a good man. He died doing what he loved, though, and it was quick. He will be highly missed by everybody.

Rest in peace, Steve.

"Died doing what he loved." :cigar:

I suppose you wouldn't like a vinyl LP slicing your body in half while listening to a Beatles record, would you?

pretty surreal.

Yeah, they said the last time someone was killed by a stingray in Australia was in 1945. Quite the luck, hm?

Not just that, he didnt die from the poison of the sting ray (it didn't poison him) he got stabbed in the heart by its stinger, something which has never killed a human before...

Some luck eh.

I've had friends die too, but none of them educated millions of people on animals, helped conserve them, or ran one of the largest zoos in the world. or happened to have a tv show.

So this made the front page of the Sydney Morning Herald yesterday. Apparently, they have the footage of Steve dying and the channel nine network are debating over whether to show it on National Television or not. See, they're going by the logic that 'Steve wanted everything to be caught on tape and therefore would've wanted people to see this'. Sick bastards.

Oh channel 9. is there anything they won't contemplate showing. The only reason they keep doing so much coverage on his death was becasue they were doing a tv speical last night. I hate channel 9, all those fuckers can burn in hell.

Revelator, we all know people who die in exceptional circumstances but as said, not all of these people did what steve did for us. He educated children to love and respect nature and helped preserve our delicate eco system. There has never been anyone here who has made it so clear that we need to look after our animals and environment.
We are not jsut sad by the loss of some guy who had a show, we are sad becuase one of the greatest australian ambassadors and environmentalists, who had such love and passion for the country and didnt have his nose stuck up george bushs ass, died.
...and somebody spoke and I went into a dream....

It's sad, I guess. I wasn't really too moved by his death though, because I didn't really know him or what he did.
I'm probably in a minority though. Other Australians are probably more sad about it than I am.
The public memorial service is on TV right now, I'm kind of half watching it.

I'm up to no good. :cigar:

Actually, I don't need to go to school because I don't have an exam today. Back to school tomorrow though.
