Maybe that's because he hasn't heard it.

McCartney Says Beatles Catalog Will Be Available Digitally!

Paul McCartney says that the Beatles' entire catalog will likely be available digitally next year. McCartney told Billboard that, "It's all happening soon. Most of us are all sort of ready. The whole thing is primed, ready to go -- there's just maybe one little sticking point left, and I think it's being cleared up as we speak, so it shouldn't be too long. It's down to fine-tuning, but I'm pretty sure it'll be happening next year, 2008."
He went on to explain that holdups in getting the music out on the Internet are due to "contractual" hangups, as well as the usual artistic hurdles: "You've got to get these things right. You don't want to do something that's as cool as that and in three years time you think, 'Oh God, why did we do that?!'"

Although the Beatles' group catalog has yet to be made available online, the majority of the solo catalogs of McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr have already been made available online.
Earlier this week McCartney released his three-DVD career spanning retrospective The McCartney Years, which features numerous videos and live appearances from 1970 to 2005.
In the commentary portion dealing with his 1976 Wings Over America tour, McCartney recalls that during the tour, he had one of the biggest rock stars on the planet catching as many shows as he could: "I remember on (that) tour, one of the people who used to follow us around, that we loved, was John Bonham out of Led Zeppelin. We'd often see him down in the front row. I mean he wasn't sort of recognizable, but he was one of my favorite drummers of all time -- him, Keith Moon, (and) Ringo."
McCartney goes on to say that years later, one of the highlights of the '76 shows finally became a favorite for none other than Bruce Springsteen: "Years later I met Bruce Springsteen at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame thing, and he said, 'Man, I really didn't understand that 'Silly Love Songs,' you know I didn't get it when it first came out -- but now I've got a family and babies, and I really get it now, man.' It's a great song, so you knew that you'd have to wait for some people to get it."
Among the dozens of videos collected on The McCartney Years are "Silly Love Songs," "My Love," "With A Little Luck," "Coming Up," "Spies Like Us," "Take It Away," "My Brace Face," "Maybe I'm Amazed," "Goodnight Tonight," "Band On The Run," and many more.

So maybe soon I can replace my four vhs tapes of McCartney videos recorded from VH1 sometime in the early 1990's when Rosie O'Donnel was a video disc jockey and Bree was just born.
Sometime soon I hope to put a few McCartney fan magazines on eBay. Anyone want first dibs? There will be other music memorabilia.
PM me next week when I get the stuff together and can give you descriptions and images.
