2006 - Not Modern Times. kthxbai.

Why not? It's my third favourite album from this year, after Stadium Arcadium and The Information. Bob Dylan still writes great songs. Why are you so biased against him?

No, yours is fine. The two albums ahead in your opinion are fantastic. I just hate the fact that a billion artists release good albums, and Bob Dylan releases a decent mellow album, and people claim it's the best thing since his last album. Dylan's album is good, it's mellow and beautiful at night, but it's just not the best.

So the years when Pink Floyd or a member of Pink Floyd didn't make an album just don't exist in your eyes, right? :dodido:

EDIT: I probably should have said ears, not eyes. That would've made me sound clever...

Look more closely at 1966, 1976 and 1978, which are all years without Floyd album releases. I think you'll find I listed favourite albums for all of those years.

Well it was a good joke at the time. By the way, I'm listening to Satellite now. It's a good song. I think I need to listen to it in the context of the album, though. And if others want to know what I'm talking about, just look in the "what song are you listening to thread".

Oxygene > Equinoxe

:fail:

Both are great. However, I would give Equinoxe the edge.

Both of those albums own Animals however, and arguably The Wall too. Floyd's weakest point, the late 70s was.

Equinoxe is a horribly dated piece of trash that is not worthy of pubic hair! It is clear that Oxygene is the better Jarre album!
