Years missing mean either I haven't heard an album from that year or I don't think there's anything from that year which I'd warrant "Album Of The Year" to.

What!?
2002 Songs About Jane!?
1998 Go an' get Birmingham Road from Jeff Black or Liz Phair's whitechocolatespaceegg. Do it now! I'll wait.
'96 Beatles Anthologies, Pearl Jam, Better Than Ezra
'94 I can tell you are not a fan of the group Bush because they also released an album in '96 that you discounted. Live''s Throwing Copper, the bloody Eagles for Christ sakes (ok Hell Frezzes over was bad) 1994 had something for everyone that year. Hootie and The Blowfish, Oasis, Stone Temple Pilots. I think you are purposefully antagonizing me. (continues with his pompous rant) Dave Matthews, The Rainmakers (smug), Matthew Sweet.
'90 Come on! C&C Music Factory, Garth Brooks, The Black Crowes, Vanilla Ice!? I thought you and I had something together? I don't even know you anymore!
'88 Rainmakers (ok that bit is getting tired, ay?) Winger's debut. I mean didn't he and that guy from Quiet Riot impress you enough with the swinging the bass around their neck and the licking fingers just before plucking the strings?
'84 Now I know that you are quite mad! One word describes the year 1984 "Relax" Don't do it. Do not do it. I.... I .... just.. I cannot ima.....
(walks away from soapbox disgusted and confused)

Just arousing debate, man. Just givin' the fans what they want to read. But seriously, one more Rainmakers and Matthew Sweet plug.
Good night everyone, drive safely.
When she walks she moves so fine like a flamingo
Crimson dress that clings so tight She's out of reach and out of sight

I counted Anthology 1 and "1".....I wasn't going to go overboard on post-Beatles releases (then Live At The BBC would fill in '94 and ...Naked would top Outkast). I considered including "Cracked Rear View" since it pretty much plays as their Greatest Hits comp, but it hasn't aged well for me.
My Beatles Trading Post (Updated Regularly)

"George had just come off tour, I'd flown in specially from England, Ringo had flown in specially, too, I think, and John wouldn't show up! He wouldn't come from across the park! George got on the phone, yelled, 'Take those fucking shades off and come over here, you!' John still wouldn't come over. He had a balloon delivered with a sign saying, LISTEN TO THIS BALLOON. It was all quite far out." -Paul McCartney

I thought Parachutes as '99.

And I can't do my favourite from 2006. It's up between Stadium Arcadium, The Life Pursuit, Black Holes & Revelations and Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not. I'd probably take the latter as my favourite, then Pursuit, then Stadium (disc 2 didn't age well with me), then BH&R. But I hate myself for that.

It was released summer, 2000. I was ten. I still remember.

The Arctic Monkeys one was good, and The Strokes, Jet, and Kasabian all put out good albums this year. But Stadium Arcadium has too many songs to put anything over it.

But disc 2 is just like. Not really good in my opinion. If it was just released as a one disc with some good tunes from disc 2 ("Tell Me Baby" ect.) then it'd easily (omglolrhcpun) dominate.

But the thing I love is that it shows that they actually have a kickass guitar player.

One of the songs rips me off completely (no bullshit, I have a two year old demo tape to prove it), but like you said, if it was a single disc, it could be 14 stellar tracks. And I wouldn't call most of the other stuff 'filler' anyway. For me, there are just more great songs on that than on the other albums from '06, and that's why it's there. It's like Double Fantasy. Sure it's got loads of filler, but it has '(Just Like) Starting Over' and 'Woman', so fuck!

Dude, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not? To me, a lot of the songs sound the same. Very much the same. I don't see how that even comes close to Stadium Arcadium.

it's obviously mere coincidence if this is true... there's no way they heard your sound.
