The drugs don't work...
I could almost hear a Dance Remix with the 'Sgt.Pepper/Because' section. But the lyrics should definitely be raised up in the mix so you can understand them better. I would try to turn that whole section into a dance song if it were me.

Thanks for the replies! Here's an "updated" version of it. It has louder vocals, and the transition from the drum beat and The End is cleaner, I guess.

Does anybody have any suggestions for another song? Thanks.

So, if this is the Beatles thread, I suppose this is where I should start singing, "We love you Beatles, oh yes we dooo..."

If you want a forum for the Beatles, go to Shabby Road, that's what it's for! We're not a Beatles forum anymore, guys! The only reason I have a Beatles discussion topic is because we're linked at beatlelinks.net, and under the description for our forum, it says, contains Beatles discussion area. I don't wanna lose the link from there either, cause it could get us traffic, so yeah.

We can still have some sort of a discussion about the Beatles here, but really, a forum for them would be ridiculous

But the refugees that turn up here when Shabby collapses would appreciate a little more space for the Beatles... it doesn't have to be a full Beatles forum... maybe just some separate spaces for "Beatles music" and "Beatles in general" and "Beatles TV and movies"... something like that.... just my opinion.

U2 AND GREEN DAY RECREATE ABBEY ROAD

Rock legends U2 and GREEN DAY delighted onlookers in London yesterday (14SEP06) when they recreated THE BEATLES famous ABBEY ROAD album cover. The two bands were recording a song together for a Hurricane Katrina charity at Abbey Road Studios, and couldn't resist copying the 1969 album photograph in which the Fab Four walk across the zebra crossing outside. Green Day's TRE COOL, MIKE DIRNT and BILLIE JOE walked in a single file from one end of the crossing while U2's BONO, THE EDGE, LARRY MULLEN JR and ADAM CLAYTON walked from the other end. An onlooker says, "Normally it's tourists you see trying to copy The Beatles. Everyone took a second when they realised who it was."

If you'd like a place to talk about the Beatles now that craig abandoned shabby again, you can go to nowhere land: http://s9.invisionfree.com/nowhere_land. It's a very nice forum. The link to it is also at the top of our forum, in the news category

Why won't they release the damn DVD already? Are they waiting for all of the remaining Beatles to die?

How many songs did John write with the Beatles?

How many songs was John the lead singer for with the Beatles?

How many songs did Paul write with the Beatles?

How many songs was Paul the lead singer for with the Beatles?

Just to see which one has the better effort and sang the most.

Thinkin' one thing and doin' another
I've seen the stat before once, I know John wins by about 1 or 2 in songs he took the lead on. I assume he's ahead by a tiny amount for the number of songs written.

I'd think Paul would have more, because he was a bit more active during the later years than John was.
