Probably because no one ever wants to find what happens in the year 2057. I mean, it's over 50 years away from now.

Can't we have a subforum in "1960s", called The Beatles? It's obvious that the Beatles is the most popular band around.

If you want a forum for the Beatles, go to Shabby Road, that's what it's for! We're not a Beatles forum anymore, guys! The only reason I have a Beatles discussion topic is because we're linked at beatlelinks.net, and under the description for our forum, it says, contains Beatles discussion area. I don't wanna lose the link from there either, cause it could get us traffic, so yeah.

We can still have some sort of a discussion about the Beatles here, but really, a forum for them would be ridiculous

Speak for yourself. Some of us, as much as we love The Beatles (and believe me, I do) choose to honour more important figures, like the God of Rock - Brian Jones! Elvis may be the King, but Brian's the greatest rockstar of all time. He was talented and lived the man's dream.

All those who fail to accept Brian as the king of cool: :fail:

Brian Jones - the original Rolling Stone!
Genius at work.

Uh, ok. You can ask 50 random people who was cooler, some common rock celebrity like John Lennon, or Brian Jones, and most people would choose John. Being a stoned horny guitar wizard doesn't make you the best rock star of all time.

It was 40 years ago on August 29th San Franciso's Candlestick Park Stadium where The Beatles gave what would be their last live audience performance. Before an audience of about 25,000 fans the show was the completion of the group's North American Summer Tour and of course the last time they would perform together for a large concert event.

Here's a little project I made using the audio program Audacity. Please tell me what you think. :)

I used the following songs:

"Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)" from Anthology 2

"Because" from Anthology 3

"The End" from Abbey Road

Yes, that was pretty cool. Nice and unusual blend of the songs. You should do a weekly post such as this. Many here will enjoy it.
