Yes, they're awesome. I really like (What's the Story) Morning Glory, and Don't Believe the Truth. From what I've heard so far
someday monkey won't play piano song, play piano song

I've always been kind of disappointed with Oasis. With so much critical acclaim and so much potential, I'm always disappointed listening to their stuff, save a song here and there.
My Beatles Trading Post (Updated Regularly)

"George had just come off tour, I'd flown in specially from England, Ringo had flown in specially, too, I think, and John wouldn't show up! He wouldn't come from across the park! George got on the phone, yelled, 'Take those fucking shades off and come over here, you!' John still wouldn't come over. He had a balloon delivered with a sign saying, LISTEN TO THIS BALLOON. It was all quite far out." -Paul McCartney

For some odd reason...this post nearly broke my heart. Get (What's The Story) Morning Glory? and if you like that, get Definitely Maybe. Nobody can resist those.

I actually started off with Definitely Maybe. Maybe that wasn't the best way to approach them. I've liked Live Forever, Digsy's Diner and Married With Children. Everything else just seemed fairly average.

Yeah really, they've all this hype, and i've only enjoyed a few of their songs. "She's Electric" has always been my number one favorite of theirs. But i do like what they stand for, and they open more opportunities for Record companys to want to sign other bands just like them, which would lead to simular styles of music. As opposed to another shitty Bowling For Soup band or something. . . .

I actually hate them. When I saw someone in the band (not sure who it was) try to play Eleanor Rigby, I nearly died. It was hilarious but embarassing to watch.

I've seen every Beatle cover they've ever done, and they've never done Eleanor Rigby, as far as I know. Aside from Noel fooling with it at a sound check, but it's not fair to count that as a cover.

They allowed one of their songs to be used in an AT&T commercial, yes. All Around The World from Be Here Now. But that came waaaaay after they were established as a successful band, so it doesn't really define them. For someone that's been a fan as long as I have, it's like a footnote. Know what I mean, Dean?

I like Oasis...the members seem a little big-headed but I dig the music.

They're pretty good, from what I've heard from them (which isn't much - mostly just the hits)
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others
